OTOH, it’s for a Chevy. Every Chevy I’ve ever owned has made me say “what’s the matter, baby” at some point.

Decades ago, Beethoven’s 5th was widely used in commercials and advertisements. I suspect Steve’s saying Christine’s song is no longer a once-famous pop song but, like Beethoven’s 5th, music that has been callously co-opted for commerce (ie: selling things). In the 80s, Marvin Gaye’s “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” became the anthem of dancing cartoon raisins.

Everywhere was used in a cellular phone commercial with a dancing horse around the On With the Show Tour too.

Actually, I was referencing “A Clockwork Orange.”

Ha! Well, maybe Everywhere will be your trigger to loot and rage. If so, we’ll reprogram you to experience nausea whenever you hear it…

I don't even watch much TV with ads and I've seen this one several times.

It's a challenge

On every channel you turn there's an ad break.

If Chevy couldn't get the rights to Everywhere an interesting alternative would have been "Bad Journey."

It looks like I miss a lot by automatically muting every commercial that comes on.
