Didn't $he wish that 20 years ago? If not, perhaps $he should have.

She has also said that she will still be performing in a ribbon festooned wheelchair so..

She can duct tape that wheelchair remote down, and spin like she did 80 years ago! Whee!!!

Don't fret and hang your tambourine up just yet. There is always next year Homer. The boss will be back :) Until then......dont let that golden hair get in your way.

Don't mock the weaves. Don't mock the weaves...

I know you were really looking forward to hearing the Gypsy story one more time.

I've been surprised by the amount of media coverage this has gotten. I think folks are wondering if this is just the start of a wave of cancellations.

This is great news. I was hoping she'd cancel and stay home.

“1968!!!!! SAN FRANCISCO!!!! JANIS!!!!!! THE VELVET UNDERGROUND!!!!! ___(insert more applause triggering words from The largely boomer crowd here)___”

..lather rinse repeat for 8 minutes. And she wonders why anyone would roll their eyes or dance while she rambled incessantly.

You forgot Woodstock

Just in case you missed it just a little bit......... In this clip, Christine blows her whistle mid story trying to get the concert going again. smh

I'm not surprised. She was headlining four of these (Stones had top billing for Jazz Fest). Michael Buble also got media attention for postponing his August shows because of the variant.
The Garth coverage is interesting. He was all about packing a stadium without masks and now he's reassessing his tour... shoulda never been on tour!

How cool to see this again considering I was at this show! Stevie could talk for half an hour before a song and I am in heaven.I think back to 1981 when she used to say she'd like to sit on stage after the shows and talk to the audience about the songs, so to me these explanations before each song are her natural progression of performing. There were times on the RAL Tour for example where she barely uttered a word and just sang and said thank you after a song.

That was a very long explanation. I was at the october 2014 concert in NJ. She explained Gypsy I remember, but I recall about the store and forward, not the previous words. It was shorter I'm sure.
