Isn't It Midnight videos

Hi all,

Does anyone have any videos of "Isn't It Midnight" from this tour? I'm dying to hear it but it doesn't seem to have been posted much at all.

Many thanks!

Does Chris have a rear view mirror on her keyboards? On her left?

Christine is NOT happy. They all look like they know what Stevie did was a really F#cked up thing to do.

She's getting back to her Dance era perma-scowl!

What's worse though, Stevie who has a personal vendetta against Lindsey (misplaced or not), or the members of the band that allowed it to get that far for no other reason than greed? My vote is for the latter, because while I think Stevie is a ridiculous egotist, she really feels she has beef with Lindsey and her motivation had nothing to do with finances. The only reason the rest of the band didn't but her in her place is because they knew she would leave, and she is more of a draw for ticket sales than Lindsey. It's more of a back stab coming from Christine especially since they just had Buckingham/McVie last year and couldn't stop singing each other's praises.

Thank you for sharing the videos, much appreciated. As great as it is to see this back in the set, it seems a little sluggish? Like it’s not got the oomph it potentially could? Credit to Neil and Mike, the solos are fantastic. But the percussion seems a bit like it’s lagging?

Also I see this is yet another thread turning into another “STEVIE IS THE DEVIL” threads. Christ, I only asked about a song from the setlist that isn’t Stevie’s or Lindsey’s :(

I agree, this forum has become very ugly and sad. People need to grow up and take on the situation but not the torment ... leave them and become a fan of another band instead of repeating themselves thread after thread after thread. It's annoying.

Anyways, Isn't Midnight was one of the songs that made me a fan back in 1987/1988. Especially the live-video with Billy and Rick attracted me. When Lindsey Buckingham was just a member of the past for me ... I hope they keep it in the set until mach, when I'll fly in from the Netherlands to see then in NYC.

Bit disappointed with hearing this Isn't It Midnight. I never liked the version back in the Rick/Billy days and hoped some day we'd get a proper version. This is no improvement. I just don't like the rhythm/tempo or something. It just sounds a bit limp.
I have to say though, Chris is looking good there. I saw some video recently where she really didn't look that great- perhaps it was just the lighting or something as she looks a lot better in these shots.

Which is it: is Chris happy or is she not happy? I've read both interpretations in this thread, both stated as obvious fact. She was clearly happy last year during the BuckVie tour, and she was clearly happy in the band tour the year before. She was clearly not happy during The Dance. So, which is it now?

From what I’ve seen and heard during the shows I’ve been to, she seems to be enjoying herself. When she’s not playing, she’s dancing by her keyboards. She looks like she’s having fun jamming with Mike on BMW and TMATTYD. I think she’s enjoying tapping into that part of her own legacy, which wasn’t a factor when Lindsey was there. She’s also made a few funny comments, like “Look at Stevie singing the blues!”

The vibe I got was very different from The Dance. She seems much happier than that, although the newness of being back seems to have waned.

The people who are moaning about Lindsey are going to read into any facial expression that makes her seem unhappy, because they are projecting their feelings. I think if you were not physically in the audience, and just going by a clip, it will be hard to tell.

KenshiMaster16 10-18-2018 09:10 PM

I'll wait to see what the members do after the tour is over. These people love to act after all.

BLY 10-18-2018 09:23 PM

I loved the version done live with Billy & Rick on those two tours. Stevie’s vocals were amazing and I’m glad I have them on my playlist. I agree it’s not quite as “Rockin” on this tour. I think its AGE.

Neal 10-19-2018 11:33 AM

Is there any sort of intro to this song? Does Chris mention what album it's from or anything? Or is it just sandwiched in?

I ask because of the few videos I've seen from this tour, I get the feeling it's filler. Which sucks because it's one I'm really looking forward to hearing/seeing in late November, and it'll probably be dropped by then... :(

This song should have a serious punch to it, but it's lacking something. My guess is Lindsey.

Fleetwood Mac, in general, lacks something without him.
