Anybody getting tickets?

I looked just for the hell of it. I have an American Express Platinum, but I didn't like the seat choice. Stub Hub has some nice seats. Prices are crazy expensive of course. I'm still upset over the whole shake up, but I've been seeing them for so many years it's like a muscle memory thing. I just had to go on and look. But I resisted buying. I may wait it out and see how the shows are and what the set list is. Pittsburgh isn't until November. Maybe I'll go. My husband keeps saying no, we are not going, look what they did to Lindsey and it brings me back to reality. LOL

kak125 04-30-2018 10:13 AM

I'm definitely going to the Pittsburgh show just not sure when I will get my tickets. I guess it will depend what I pull up when they go on sale. I hate that floor seats are $218 plus fees. I didn't spend that much in 2015 when I bought my 3rd row seats. I can't see the show selling out so I am thinking about waiting till last minute just to get the best deal.

kak125 04-30-2018 10:18 AM

Lol did you see Mick is doing a Meet & Greet for $600. That's insane!

lovethemac1 04-30-2018 10:39 AM

Nope, not at all. I am saving my money for Lindsey's solo tour. Having follwed this band since 1977, when I bought my first vinyl (yes, Rumours), it would just seem wrong to see this line up, and mainly because of how it's been handled. With Chris and Lindsey leaving before, that was their own choice. This late-age tour was suppose to be (in my mind!!) everyone's chance to say goodbye to a band that has defined many lives and many events. Or, at the very least, a chance to see the Classic 5.

Although, to attend another Meet 'n Greet with Mick could prove interesting, I'd have some questions for him that he may not enjoy.............................:lol:

I can’t find this on the ticketmaster website or on the Fleetwood Mac page, where did you see the meet and greet?

If you go to buy tickets on ticketmaster the next screen where you can add parking is the meet & greet option.

Oh wow. Thank you. So this year the meet and greet doesn’t even come with the great seats!

No autographs? Last 2 times he's done this you've been allowed to have one item signed. Even less value overall for more money. The good seats was the incentive to buy this before, now it's not necessary. I'll keep my money for hopefully Lindsey solo as well on this occasion. For all we know, there might be some disclaimer forbidding Lindsey questions at it, especially if Lindsey's finally spoken by the time the tour comes around.

When we did our meet n greet, we had quite a few things and he signed all, drumsticks, book, shirt. I'd still ask him questions regarding Lindsey, and risk getting kicked out. I just want to see that man squirm.

McLamb 04-30-2018 11:59 AM

Got mine this morning. Front row. Can hardly wait!

Feather Blade 04-30-2018 12:57 PM

We'll go, just haven't decided between Charlotte or Columbia yet. With my luck, they will add a second leg later with a Raleigh show and I wouldn't have had to drive three hours. That's how it worked last time around.

Its just really tacky IMHO.

sleepless child 04-30-2018 02:08 PM

I'm interested in seeing what the setlist will be. And of course how they sound together. I'm sure it will be a good show, Mike and Neil are very talented, but it just aint' the Mac to me and I'm really on the fence about this.

I know its tough because how often is it you hear Christine McVie sing live. They are in my town on my birthday but its a week night. I am not excited about going and probably will pass. I have no interest in Stop Draggin My Heart Around live with the remaining members of the Mac. Stevie stopped doing that song for years but because of Tom she is making it her tribute. Its just going to be the hits with the new guys taking a few older songs. Don't think I will be interested. At least you can say no more Big Love and Never Going Back Again. That is a plus ;)

My mom got me a ticket for the meet and greet. I'm kinda regretting that now from what I've been told about them. I thought I was actually gonna get to have a conversation with him. Plus I bet Lindsey's concert would've been cheaper. But no going back now. At least I finally get to see Christine live

I attended the meet/greet on the last tour. I asked him for a new album (a double album no less) and he gave a very diplomatic answer about the difficulty in keeping everyone engaged in the lengthy recording process of a double album. He also said he appreciated the desire for new music.

Believe me I would ask a completely different question now if they're still doing it that way. I hope he's bombarded with Lindsey questions. I hope and pray someone can pin him down on "scheduling conflicts" by listing the times FM waited for Stevie without resorting to firing anyone. He wants to avoid the word fired because it's an ugly word. Yes, but it's not just a word, it's an ugly act.

Your mom was very generous to purchase this for you. She'd be hurt if you didn't go.

StreetAngel86 05-01-2018 01:59 AM

pass thanks.
i've never seen Bucky solo
so hopefully he's touring somewhere on the US east coast in December where I hope to be for CHristmas

That is so sweet of you mom to but you a ticket!! I'm envious!! Go and enjoy the concert, and please ignore the negativity on here - don't let it spoil your experience. Whatever went on with the band, we don't have to take sides, and it doesn't have to stop us enjoying the shows. I'm sure it will be wonderful and you'll have a great time! :blob2:

sue 05-01-2018 03:31 AM

Hope they do a UK tour...will have to consider shall I/shan’t ??
Saw them in 2015 and would have loved to see Rumours5, one more time.

jkmaletic 05-01-2018 08:14 AM

VIP prices are ridiculous. I perused around on that site a couple different times yesterday and sometimes it said certain packages were sold out, then later in they were available again. Weird. I also noticed the Ticketmaster site for my show in San Diego has the seating chart wrong. The seating chart on the VIP site is actually correct. Unreal. I mean how difficult can it be? So make sure you guys check your Ticketmaster seating charts against the VIP seating charts. The VIP seating charts are also more detailed.
As for tickets, I'm going to skip all the presales as I've learned it's mostly just a way for the venue to sell the crap seats. I will try for the regular on sale on Friday. If nothing comes up for that I will just wait it out. :woohoo:

Jamie

dontlookdown 05-01-2018 01:28 PM

I'm going. The Amex presale doesn't have a lot available for the LA shows unless you're ok paying 299 and up for a seat.
Will probably wait til the general sale date for better options.

Crushed that Lindsey left, but I'm a big Mike Campbell fan, so I'm interested to hear how they sound. Will miss Lindsey's playing, but I think people are going to be surprised what Mike brings to the band.

rockhopper 05-02-2018 03:23 PM

Anyone know the Live Nation and or Facebook password for pre-sales tomorrow ?

kak125 05-02-2018 03:36 PM

this one starts tomorrow:

SiriusXM subscribers will have the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public on Friday, May 4 at 10 am local time. The SiriusXM Presale will run on Thursday, May 3 from 10 am to 10 pm local time. NOTE: The SiriusXM Presale for Louisville, KY, will run on Thursday, May 10 from 10 am to 10 pm CT. To access the SiriusXM Presale use code SIRIUSXM. For complete ticket information, please visit www.fleetwoodmac.com.

kak125 05-03-2018 09:44 AM

I was looking for tickets for the pittsburgh show with the sirius presale code and noticed they dropped the prices for the show. It's now $66-190 so that helps a bit. I was only able to pull up floor 4 row cc so i will wait till tomorrow for the public on sale.

kathy1 05-03-2018 10:39 AM

livenation is playlist i usedit to get my tickets

Kubrick2788 05-03-2018 02:49 PM

Pittsburgh

Used the Live Nation code to pick a pair of tickets up this morning. I don't mind being upstairs for this go round. Was budgeting for a farewell show and seeing them more than once. So this worked out well for me in a way. Interested to see what they decide to throw together as a career spanning set. I imagine I'll enjoy myself either way. I get too anxious waiting for the regular onsale anymore so these seats were fine by me. No need to be up close just yet. Not unless they're going to do some of the songs I've missed before. Thought I can see myself trying to be up front if Sara makes an appearance again. And Christine has a better voice across the tour.

jkmaletic 05-04-2018 07:52 AM

Good luck to everyone today that is trying the general sale. I will be among you. I'm pretty picky about where I'm sitting, so if the sections I'm looking for don't come up, I plan to wait. Really hoping to get them today though for two reasons: get it out of the way, and then be able to look forward to it all the way to December.

Jamie

StevieandChris 05-04-2018 08:36 AM

Kept getting a weird message yesterday but tried today and got two tickets for MSG. I actually prefer being upstairs at this venue so prices were not too bad.

lilyfee 05-04-2018 09:39 AM

I tried to get tickets right at 10am and I’m astounded... within 15 minutes, there were no tickets aside from third tier balcony on my local venue’s website (Ticketmaster wasn’t available in my state) and worse, the only tickets in other nearish venues where Ticketmaster is the only ticket provider are only ridiculously expensive resale on Ticketmaster. What is going on?? I find it very hard to believe that this tour sold out so fast. Is this scalpers? I don’t even know how to get tickets now... I don’t want unverified tickets or super expensive resale tickets.

kak125 05-04-2018 09:43 AM

I was really surprised too that they are no tickets but then again ticketmaster is weird I bet in a few hours there will be a lot available.

Feather Blade 05-04-2018 10:02 AM

I haven't been able to get anything yet either. I have one computer giving me a really strange message, my phone seems to say that the only thing left is resale tickets and another computer pulled up a pair of floor tickets but they are so far back that they are useless to a short person like me standing on a floor with no slope. I don't understand what is going on. I did get a message saying something about extremely high demand on the site currently, so maybe tickets are getting wiped out. I hope something suitable comes up eventually. I suppose I can go the StubHub route, but since I'll have to travel and figure in a hotel stay as well, I was hoping to avoid that if possible.

kak125 05-04-2018 10:06 AM

Ok the map finally came up and there are tons of tickets left for the Pittsburgh show. The best floor though is floor 3 row q for 190 plus fees

Glad to hear I’m not the only one having this issue! I guess I need to leave it alone and check back in a few hours!

editme2 05-04-2018 10:28 AM

I was having problems on the Ticketmaster site for the Boston show as well. Kept telling me no tickets were available in any section.... Now, though, the map is back up and there are lots of seats available around the arena. I'm debating whether I should wait to purchase, given that the show is still a year away.... Hmmm.... Any suggestions? I'd like to have decent seats, but I'm not willing to spend more than $250 a ticket.....

I always wait to buy tickets (unless front row pops up) and it works out so well. I always get a better deal too and have never paid more than $170 a ticket and that was 3rd row floor in 2015 when Christine came back. I think this tour will be like the ones without Christine where there were tons of tickets available. Also it gives you time to save up. :)

Feather Blade 05-04-2018 10:46 AM

The seat map finally came up for me as well. You have to go back to the 22nd row to get multiples in a reasonably centered spot though and that is just too far back for me to be able to see over the sea of taller people. I got excited for a moment because there was a pair on the 13th row center that wasn't the pink resale tickets, but it turned out they are platinum seats and I just can't stomach the price difference right now. I would totally be with you on waiting for a good deal to pop up on StubHub at the last minute if it wasn't for the having to travel rub. I wish I knew if they were going to add a second leg and come back through closer to me at a venue that didn't require travel. That has happened to me before. Arghhh, first world problem I guess. :)

jkmaletic 05-04-2018 02:15 PM

Ugh...ticketmaster. I had similar issues as you guys, and when I DID get it to work, all it offered me was junk seats. Gonna have to play the waiting game.
