how many BM shows are you going to?

just curious - anyone going to more than 1? more than 2?

aleuzzi 06-18-2017 03:34 PM

Sadly, I'm not going to any. No shows are close enough. I was thinking I might go to Toronto anyway and just have to see if I'm not worn down from July 4 the day before.

Same here; every show is 1,000 miles from me. I'd love to see them, but I'm not getting on a plane to do it.

HomerMcvie 06-18-2017 04:32 PM

Just Nashville on Friday. That's probably it for me.

If they would add an Indy, Louisville, or Chattanooga, I'd pick up at least one more. (2 hour drive is usually my limit)

Macfan4life 06-18-2017 05:37 PM

This is a sensitive topic for me because this is a once in a lifetime chance and such intimate venues. However the tour is going nowhere close to Miami at this time. I do travel to Pittsburgh but no dates there either. So its frustrating for me to plan where to go at this point. I keep hoping for some Florida dates to appear. But not sure its going to happen.

sadly, i seriously doubt they'll add more dates in other places.

I'm not great with maps or directions in general, but I think Pittsburgh is more like a 4-5 hour drive to Dayton.

And a set list, in order (please), so I know what to expect on Friday. :woohoo:

You should go in cold. That way your excitement level is higher.

I on the other hand, can't wait a month.

Back in the day, forcing my high school friends to watch the Mirage video, the one universally agreed on compromise, was that Not That Funny must ALWAYS be skipped. Because they HATED that sh*t. Egads, all that screaming...

My approach is the opposite. I am going to try my darndest to not look at the Ledge before the show I'm going to (Boston, 6/28). I don't want to know ahead of time what they're going to play. (Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised!)

MakerofBirds 06-19-2017 10:15 AM

I'm curious to know what ticket sales are like for BM at other venues so far. This is the show in Atlanta on Wednesday. SO MANY TICKETS LEFT.

I know. I've been telling everyone in Nashville about the super cheap lawn seats on Groupon, trying to bring a few more bodies into the venue.

Are The Wallflowers a draw these days? I really have no idea...

I'm sure the situation in Phoenix must be pretty much the same.
Do I care? No.
Am I happy because they're giving me new music? Yes! :]
Am I eager for a full venue with an artist that's gonna give me the same old songs over and over again? Hmmm, no. :woohoo:

Phoenix and Vegas are gonna rock for me. That's all I care. :xoxo:

Of course! I already have a ticket, but was looking to see if I could get something closer without having to spend $225 for something in the first 2 rows. I was really surprised at what I saw available.

LB Freakazoid 06-19-2017 11:02 AM

I'm going to Atlanta :) Can't believe it's in a couple of days!:blob2:
I travel lots for work and pass thru ATL every week (yup, I'm a Delta flyer).
It's going to be strange to actually leave the airport!
If they do come to Florida, I'll probably go to that too.....

Macfan4life 06-19-2017 12:51 PM

This tour really does show how many true Fleetwood Mac fans there are. Of course this board is full of die hard fans. But if you are a Mac fan and went to one of the arena shows 2 years ago in Atlanta with 15,000 people. Why don't at least 5000 of these "fans" come see 2 out of the 3 singers in the Mac in such an intimate setting? Its sad that Stevie sells 90% of Mac tickets. It really frustrates me and makes me angry. I saw Christine play all the Mac hits and have a hit solo album and sell only 200 tickets at the theater. WTF?
I guess we wont see this tour extended :(

pattyfan 06-19-2017 01:27 PM

Zero, unless the add some Bay Area shows. :(

I thought about the Nocal show, but that was in a remote location in Murphys, CA.
It did sell pretty well. And there are dinner tickets still avail. 3rd row, I think.

MakerofBirds 06-19-2017 03:43 PM

If you've been checking on tickets for a chance to upgrade, this afternoon they changed front and second row seats in Atlanta from $225 down to $95. They may do that for other shows as well when it gets to be a couple days from the event.

because seeing legendary Fleetwood Mac is very different than seeing 2 names who they may not even know are in FM, or that they are touring. FM tour was well advertised, with the band being on hugely watched tv show announcing every time their tix were going on sale. not so with this tour.

sue 06-19-2017 05:53 PM

None 😢😢😢...unless they suddenly arrange a Uk tour.
Based on sales they should !!!

Would I go...too right ..
Will just have to rely on my Ledgie chums and youtube.

i know:distress: - they really should have added UK dates.

jbrownsjr 06-19-2017 06:06 PM

Denver
Las Vegas
Los Angeles (*)

If they add NY and LA...

Elliefw 06-19-2017 06:54 PM

I'm still hopeful they will add a few uk dates, especially seeing the album did really quite well here compared to in the states, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

It's Nor Cal but not Bay Area. But now you are making me think about it. :)

If you don't know Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham are members of Fleetwood Mac then you are really not a fan. Perhaps a casual fan with a little interest in some hit songs. These 2 members are going to perform many Mac classic hits. A die hard fan would definitely be at the concert.
Legendary Fleetwood Mac members Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham performing Fleetwood Mac hits along with new material. What more do you need to know or want ;)

Exactly! If you don't know them you're just a Stevie fan.

Which is ok, but then don't label yourself as a FM fan.
