Brad Jeffries today
Since Marilyn Martin is leaving/retired from the real estate business to join Stevie on the 24 Karat Gold tour, perhaps we could get Brad Jeffries to leave his current 9-5 as a massage therapist to dance during 'Stand Back' again! :)
'Hands on Site' (in Sunnyvale, CA) A recent pic of Brad with Stevie |
Thanks for the link- Brad still looks good, older but distinguished. Man, I had a huge crush on him in those videos- he was a beautiful man and a great dancer!

GREAT idea.
Let Brad come out and dance around her during Stand Back - won't be much more or less advanced than it was back in the day. (Brad looks amazing). |
Since we've already dug up Marilyn Martin and Brad Jeffries from the Stevie Nicks road band graveyard, why don't we start exhuming Eliscia Wright, Bob Glaub, and Bobbye Hall?

I was wondering how he was doing.Wow .He's a massage therapist now.He looks great now. Thanks for the update on him.
|
Stevie could have Brad come in around the end of the tour to do his moves.
I wonder whats his opinion on Dancing with the stars show. |
Thanks for posting the update on Brad! Its good to see an update. It would be interesting to see what they could do now with Rooms on Fire. Maybe another short dance?
|
Brad now slightly resembles Mr. Giles from Buffy the vampire slayer.

Or why not some ballet dancers in the background while she does IAF? Just behind the band, unobtrusive.

And Sheila E.'s brother . . . the guy who played congas while the rest of the band formed a samba line for "Edge of 17." Oh, wait a minute--and Les Dudek with a cast on his arm! |

Yes I remember him.I think he got carried away with it and sound like a rock opera . From mistralwindbebe's YT channel. speaking of the RAL tour .What ever happen to her RAL tour bass player Jennifer Condos. Who I really missed is the original HBO band. |
Brad Jeffries has a page up at: https://www.quora.com/profile/Brad-Jeffries
where he answers your questions. He's discussed working on Broadway, his friendship with Madonna, life as a gay man, spirituality, working with Michael Jackson, and of course Stevie. About Stevie: "Knowing Stevie for 30+ years, I believe I can give you some insight into how I experience her as a friend and what she is like to just 'be" with. First let me say that Stevie is one of the most loyal, generous and kind people I have ever known, and on top of that she is as funny and witty as anyone I know. I say this next bit with some trepidation as I don't wish to sound odd, but working artists are different than people who don't live and work in the arts; yet at the same time they are the same as every body else in life. They are sometimes grumpy, tired, bored and boring. Other times they are fun, happy, uplifting and positive. I guess what I am trying to say is that we are ALL basically the same. Souls traveling through this life trying to do the best we can and striving to improve to be become better kinder souls while we walk around in these meat suits, hopefully long enough to experience all the stages of life while keeping our fingers crossed that along the way we give love to others and are loved by others, and we get a smidge wiser along the way. But back to the question...(sorry but I awoke at 2:30 a.m. and am rambling obviously) When Stevie is creating or performing she is a gift from God to be around. And when she is hanging out on a day off, she is like any other friend you have known for decades. Sometimes I think Stevie is one of the most normal friends I have ever had. She is a genuinely beautiful and kind soul." On Stevie being on the cover of 'Rolling Stone' recently: "I woke up to a message to check out today's cover of Rolling Stone, which my friend of over 30 years is gracing the cover of....Stevie Nicks. I'm so happy for her and also very proud of her. She is so deserving of every honor coming her way these days, as she is so hard working, dedicated and talented. She has sacrificed many of the things that many people take for granted to create a body of work that continues to bring joy to people. She is truly a legend, and more importantly, a great friend!" |
Thanks for the link, greendaze5. Brad comes across like an awesome guy and very good at his job.
