GTFO!!!!:p

Well, do a set and put that in there... I want to see what people come up with..

love it that you started this - this tour if it really materializes can be so exciting and different!

i'm with you on no Stevie songs although if Johnny Mac wants Crystal for whatever reason, he can have it.

:lol::laugh::xoxo:

they would be free to throw out some of their dry humor! imagine the banter we can get!!

I'm sure that's another reason Stevie gets pissed. They have been known to throw some of that dry humor her way. Remember the whistle.

For a tour behind a new album . . .

i have yet to sit down and think about it - possibilities are almost too overwhelming!

• new songs - they need to do at least 6, but ideally 8!
• The Chain - they should start with it.
• of the songs they do anyway (FM hits i guess) i want to hear Say You Love Me, Second Hand News, You Make Loving Fun, Hold Me, Big Love, Little Lies, Everywhere, Tusk, Go Your Own Way, World Turning, Don't Stop, and Songbird.
• i want Think About Me and Walk A Thin Line off Tusk.
• So Afraid or Come or Murrow?
• maybe they can do Steal Your Heart Away?

i'd prefer no solo songs since there are so many FM deep cuts they don't do.

that's 22-24 songs already. some additional Tusk songs would be pretty amazing!

i wouldn't mind Oh Well.

If they ever do this small tour, "Steal Your Heart Away" is very possible. Christine sings on the original.

yup!

same with Bleed To Love Her, but they should do it faster than they did in AUS last year. i like BTLH better, but SYHA is almost never done live so would be nice!

I forgot about the 50th Anniversary angle. I'd still love it if they had Billy and Rick open with a mostly early years tribute set.

I'd love to see that. If Rick and possibly also Billy opened the show, it would seem a bit rude not to have them return later to join in the encore. Perhaps there could be a place for As Long As You Follow.

I was thinking they could join in for an extended version of "Don't Stop."

I was just thinking they could push the boat out and get Jeremy to join them in an opening act. Then I thought back- I quite recently asked Rick whether he'd ever do a joint tour with Jeremy- he said it was on the cards once but 'it didn't work out'. He said it as if they didn't get on or something.

The setlist opportunities are amazing. I love all of these.

no have them play !
they were band members keep it loose , and if it turns out that it was the farewell tour then be it it would be so cool

I know this is a crazy thought.... but what if we were to find out that the set list for this tour were completely different? That whatever "restrictions" there were on set lists over the last few tours didn't exist this time? I know, totally nuts, but a thought.

There are many great ideas in this thread. I would LOVE to hear at least 2 solo songs this time out. But, one has to be the acoustic version of Friend! :)

i love all different ideas. and every single setlist posted here would be so different and 100x better than the stale FM 5 setlist!

maybe you are right, considering a lot of band "politics" would probably go away if it's this particular 4 out of 5.

This is a fun thread. Its a pipe dream that I know will never happen though :(
I was surprised how traditional some of your set lists were. It was like you just removed Stevie songs from the set. I want to hear this pair in all their glory. Lets make this amazing opportunity count!!!

sure, i hear you guys. so would Down on Rodeo. and In Our Own Time again. and Gone Too Far. and To Try For The Sun. and Rock Away Blind. and Gift of Screws. and Underground. and Turn It On. but i don't want to hear LB solo songs with FM. he can do those on solo tour. i want to hear his FM songs that we don't normally hear. i wanna hear his Tusk gems. and GOS1 gems that ended on the FM album. so Red Rover would be nice! and Murrow! i want to know how these might sound with Chris.

This is a pipe dream. A Fleetwood Mac tour will not be booked anywhere without Stevie Nicks

Its fun to dream sometimes. I still dream of a Christine McVie solo concert. It wont happen but I can still dream ;)
