What happened to the Ivory Keys blog?

http://stevienicksivorykeys.blogspot.it/

It had tons of demos and outtakes from over the years and it's gone. I was planning to look up Mirage demos that *weren't* included on the remaster.

Already discussed here: http://ledge.fleetwoodmac.net/showthread.php?t=56190

Basically it's the same old story, Dropbox deleted everything for "copyright infringment" and Mike Bise is thinking about how to figure everything out.

Maybe he should take the hint and stop uploading copyrighted material.

I really hope he doesn't, to be honest.

God me neither. Mike is an asset, I think.

The way I look at it, if you're listening to bootlegs.. it means you've bought everything else. probably twice..

The way I look at it, bootlegs aren't part of the FM franchising either, so downloading them you're not taking anything away from them.

Exactly, plus it's interest in the band.

Oh. So...might it be you that keeps reporting him?

Whoever is doing that needs to get a life.

I know! it's so aggravating considering the time and work and money that so many have contributed to getting this material and making it available - free of charge - to other fans.

And He's So Unusual, I was only joking about my previous post. Please don't take me seriously. :D

Noone is reporting anyone probably, it's just that sharing sites when they see massive amounts of downloads just decide to shut down profiles as a precautionary move.
Sometimes in my small way even I had problems with mediafire because it temporarily signaled a song as "copyrighted" when I was sharing many uploaded files in sequence.

Probably. But it's odd that every time Mike's sites get shut down (3 now that I remember), they tell him the complaint originated "from a copyright holder" in Germany.

What does that mean, exactly. That someone reported that's from Germany?

Well, everytime he uploaded and shared more than 10'000 of files (by his own ammission) and every each of them was being downloaded, I don't know, maybe hundreds, but maybe thousands of times.
I don't say that it's right, but these large hosting sites probably wants to avoid every little thing that could even remotely become a legal menace.

Found him.

I'm surprised that somebody in Germany is complaining .Most of the complaints more likely from the states on that kind of stuff.

For those like me who didn't know, the Ivory Keys blog has been resurrected under the new name of "Stevie Nicks Source": http://stevienickssource.blogspot.it/

good news!

The new Ivory Keys blog has been taken down again: https://www.blogger.com/blogin.g?blo...e.blogspot.it/
