Macfanforever 09-12-2016 09:46 AM

Keep trying.Since its the only show I'll be attending. I broke down and got a premium tix in sec 5 at Mohegan Sun almost instantly which I'm surprised to get with out the site getting overloaded.

tothegypsy 09-12-2016 09:53 AM

Could not pull up a single ticket for Bethlehem.

Macfanforever 09-12-2016 09:57 AM

That sucks.Looks like the site crashed after I got mine a couple minutes into the 10 am sale.

What does Springsteen have to do with it?

Jondalar 09-12-2016 11:07 AM

Why are there stories in the web about this concert breaking records for selling out?

Danielle 09-12-2016 11:09 AM

Bethlehem and Uncasville don't have many tickets left according to TicketMaster.

editme2 09-12-2016 11:45 AM

I couldn't get "regular" tickets for Connecticut.... From the moment they went on sale at 10, I was getting a "no tickets available message" whenever I searched. I ended up getting fairly crappy re-sale tickets for a slightly marked-up price (but not outrageous).....

For Boston, I got fairly decent tickets in one of the Loges to the side of the stage. Not great, but regular price.

Based on my experience, I would say tickets are selling briskly, unless scalpers are scooping all of them up.

jkmaletic 09-12-2016 12:18 PM

Couldn't get ANYTHING to come up for LA forum show. No VIP either.

Really weird.

PoetofRhiannon 09-12-2016 12:51 PM

Couldn't get anything for LA... and I'm kind of surprised that I can't get anything...

Got fourth row center for Boston.

jkmaletic 09-12-2016 01:04 PM

Either we've underestimated the interest for this, or there's something wrong with Ticketmaster's system.

I'd be willing to bet THAT has a lot to do with it.

paleshadow 09-12-2016 03:50 PM

Can't pull anything up for Mohegan Sun right now. :(

RavenOfRhiannon 09-12-2016 03:56 PM

I got a third row and a seventh row for Dallas through the pre sale first time I've ever not been in the nose bleeds.
This will be the first Stevie concert my best friend and I will be attending together. Anthony lives in Philly and I live in Texas. We met because he mentioned Stevie in a letter he wrote in to the New Titans comic (Issue #74) that was published in the back of the issue in 1991. I wrote to him on a whim and we've been best friends since. I am so incredibly excited to share this concert with him.

Yes .I hope they drop for you and the rest who want to go.This is ludicrous and BS this is happening. My luck is probably due to only needing one ticket and just luck from upstairs. If I could not get a seat today or the next few days and got a nose bleed seat for cheap.I would except it and would be open for good seats up to the show . I've done that a few times and got great seats like Stevie's Mansfield show years ago and got a EO17 handshake that night.I took a chance with face priced scalped tix that night and wrote scalped mine or wrote it off.I cant remember what I did with it.

wheart 09-12-2016 07:42 PM

sorry some of you are having problems. I had pretty good luck with the presales for Philly and NY. Going to both! Decent seats are still coming up for Philly.

TsnFan4Ever 09-12-2016 08:56 PM

I agree about the LA show. Tickets have been horrible. I was online the minute tickets for LA went on sale--sitting in the Denver airport waiting for my flight back to So Ca--and couldn't get anything. I kept having problems with the robot screening, then error messages, and then the website kept crashing for about 10 minutes--and then nothing decent at all.

I just looked a few minutes ago and our LA VIP seats are selling for $2000+ each--and you need to buy 4 (so much for the limit of 4 seats--they just sold them to these scalpers). It will be interesting to see if anyone is stupid (or desperate) enough to buy them.

I tried again on the last day of AMEX resale and found a seat in the first level on the side. It's not great but sound will probably be better there--and it was for face value, $150.

In contrast, Phoenix still has great selection of VIP seats and lots of others. I so wish I could get off work that day and fly home to AZ for that show!!!

Hope this gets better for the rest of you who are still searching for tickets.

Macfanforever 09-12-2016 09:35 PM

$2000 bucks .Definitely the industry should be looked at.There is no way in the world that a concert is worth that much.

TsnFan4Ever 09-12-2016 10:33 PM

I'm curious how they're even going to manage selling those $2000 tickets. Since the VIP tickets are at "Will Call" and non-transferable, aren't they risking being caught scalping?
And, as if the price itself isn't outrageous enough, they're selling four for that amount.

This has all become such a racket. It was so much more fun to buy tickets to see FM and Stevie years ago when prices were affordable and you just went to the venue or outlets a few hours before they went on sale, stood in line with everyone, and then got the seat(s) you wanted. Now it's just become a big racket and the joy of that experience is gone.

As much as I wanted to see Stevie tour again--and have been seeing her in her solo tours since her very first tour--I just feel depressed from this experience (especially after going through this with FM's last tour).

I agree .Its getting worse.I blame it on the big shots."promoters and who ever behind the scenes" cashing in on the bands and artists .It should be looked into.My tix are "will call" only.I've done it before.Atlease I saved on the printing and shipping charges.I just have to remind myself when I leave home and not worry about forgetting my tix at home.

olive 09-13-2016 05:42 AM

Stevie/ bands have a say on ticket prices , vip , platinum seats and which and how many seats go to "resellers"

editme2 09-13-2016 07:17 PM

So it looks like, at least for Boston, they're not selling tickets to the upper tier of the arena. That automatically lowers the capacity to about 8,000 to 10,000 seats, which is much more manageable for Stevie.

Same at Golden 1 in Sacramento.

Cool story, hope you guys have fun.

It looks that way in Columbia, too. (If I'm reading the map right.) I've heard that they open up seats on the night of the show if people are looking for seats. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks, y'all. You're such a godsend with all your knowledge.

eric51078 09-16-2016 04:07 PM

If anyone is not able to attend the Bethlehem show and needs to get rid of their tickets PLEASE PM me. Just need 2

Macfan4life 09-18-2016 01:25 PM

Here in South Florida they also are not selling the upper tier of the arena. There are lots of VIP tickets still for sale too. That surprised me. On the Ticketmaster site, it looks like only a few thousand of tickets have been sold.
I wish Stevie would have played the Hard Rock casino in Hollywood FL like she did several years ago. The place is smaller than the venue she is playing now.

Macfanforever 09-18-2016 07:42 PM

I think its her" on the fly " last minute bookings. Most book 6 months to a year in advance for good concert nights and venues .

Jondalar 09-18-2016 08:04 PM

So the concerts aren't selling well?

I agree with this. I ordinarily go to the DC, Charlotte, or Philly show, which are my favorite venues, but because there are so few weekend nights, I have to travel to Columbia.

It's honestly hard to tell, at least for me. I'm trying to get seats for either LA or Vegas, and they have very few, if any, resale tix available in the middle section in the first five rows. I tried the Vegas presale for gold VIP tickets this morning just to see if anything would come up, and nothing was available. For Vegas, could be a lot of seats down front are being locked up for special guests of the hotel, etc., as it is this venue's first show. I will probably end up waiting for ticket drops for LA at the last minute. Kind of frustrating to be honest with you.

PastelGravel 09-29-2016 01:47 PM

I'm hoping something Gold VIP opens up tomorrow for those of us that don't have AMEX....

Newzchspy 09-29-2016 04:56 PM

Over 15 years ago, I learned a lil trick from an esteemed fellow member here who dresses like Stevie at all her shows, yet really looks nothing like her since she is tall, very slim and dark haired. Yes, you know WHO you are!!

She told me the secret of her success in always getting the first three rows where I always saw her at Chicago concerts was waiting till the last minute on the last day of the show or day before the show when all the "throw back" tickets were "thrown back" from radio stations , promotional etc. I tried her method and it always works like a charm for me. I've never failed to get at least first three rows, sometimes 4th or 5th and for face value of the ticket.
