I just don't get the idea that in late 2016 Stevie is trying to push her last few solo albums from 2014 and 2011. If she wasn't recording with Fleetwood Mac this year, why couldn't she have recorded with Dave Stewart to get the album out by October? This would have been a great time right before the tour started.

I think Stevie's manager is putting these ideas in her head that "nobody buys albums anymore". I recall an old interview when "In Your Dreams" was about to be released.

I totally agree. Or at a bare minimum record 2-4 more demos and tack on as a bonus EP or Super Deluxe version of 24 Karat Gold. Something to excite us fans!

Yes this is the big disappointment and almost made me boycott this tour. I thought SLN1 or whoever it is in another thread was saying she was recording with a new producer in Nashville or something? But no more word on that. I mean, screw FM, it is a dysfunctional oldies act, I really was fantasizing about 24KG2. Which will likely not happen at all now?

I think she's touring also to test how the fans will receive the new material, and then to don't let the first volume of songs from the vault die without trying, so there can't be a second volume yet.

She should put a 'Vault 2' out ahead of her tour. The tour would help to sell both 24KG and Vault 2 and vica versa, Vault 2 would have helped to sell concert tickets. She's had enough time to have recorded an album given the time it took to do 24KG.

Yes. So is anyone on this message board familiar with who SLN1 is? Are they somehow close to Stevie's camp or in the industry with inside information? Apparently, they mentioned on another thread a new album with a new producer and a newly recorded version of "Gypsy" for an upcoming major motion picture.

Come on, SLN1! If indeed you have some sort of inside knowledge, you need to provide more details, because just spouting statements like "New album. New recorded Gypsy. New producer. Dave's out." just isn't cutting it.

I also do have a friend with The AP but that's not where this info came from
I promised not post anything on social media
but it was hard not to share here with all of you and I waited till just before the tour was announced
pretty much all I know I posted and there's really no other info I have

There's a new producer who is the happening guy at the moment

After several Ledgies and I have done some investigating, it would appear that former Ledge member, "Welcomechris" (Joe Seerg) and SLN1 are in fact one and the same. Add former Facebook troll "Moe Sizlak" to the list of his alter egos as well. I'm so sick of this sh*t!!!

Stevie hasn't recorded a new album, nor has she hired a producer to record an upcoming album. There is no newly re-recorded "Gypsy". Sorry to be the one to let you all know that ANYONE who believes any of this are just falling prey to the lies of someone who still continues to troll this forum for attention!!! It's ridiculous!

The moral of the story is...Inside information is not to be believed 100% unless you personally know the person and can in fact verify that they are in contact with someone on the inside...Proof or it did not happen...

Thanks for the investigative work Dave.I never bought this person's info anyway and I also didn't interpret Waddy's interview on here as meaning that there was another album in the can. In this day and age if Stevie commences work on a new album I think we will all know about it long before it's completion.

I'd be the first to jump all over this if SLN1 really was welcomechris (welcomechris/Joe Seerj still calls his Youtube channel 'The official Fleetwood Mac Youtube channel' even after being found out).
However, I don't personally see any similarities in the writing style. Whilst I wouldn't be 100% sure of this information (a friend of a friend of a man I met in a bar's brother told me) I dont think SLN1 is welcomechris.
Unless people have irrefutable proof (which was definitely there in the past concerning welcomechris- remember the fake album cover?) then people shouldn't be so attacking.
Anyway, as SLN1 pointed out, he/she was right about the impending tour.

I still hold out hope for another Stevie album. Sadly, FM is likely to get their hooks in her again before she can do that.

I agree .It would be great if she made part 2.She probably will feel out of place with some fans if she dumps part two and not the FM album.More likely she probably record part 2 during or after her FM tour and recording commitment and hopefully tour and release it at the same time.As we saw her slap 24k together in no time with Dave .She can do it again.
