If true Mick would be crying worse than a little kid that's dropped a piece of candy... |
Media Mass is a site dedicated to creating false news stories FYI
They had a story about a new FM tour or album a while back that was also totally bogus |

Stevie nicks/pretenders tour is about to be announced!
|
Stevie has been very busy.
|
If it is true, I hope that this time it is Christine that's going to try to strangle her.
|
I like the Pretenders but if a Stevie Nicks/Pretenders double bill had taken place during both of their heydays in the early 1980s there would have been riots at every show.

So a tour with the Pretenders, OK. But a new album? We have no clues or leaks about anything like that, do we?
|
Christ on the Cross tell me this isn't true

Tour will be announced by mid Sept with The Pretenders, heavy 24K set list new album (Dave's out) other things going on as well |
Despising the idea of,this your and agree with whoever said Christine has every right to now legally strangle her.
But if her set is just as,long, and it is,truly 24kg heavy and especially if a new album is coming then I,would actually be quite happy personally. But for all we have an official source of this is terrible news... With the potential,to be great news  |

I really hope this is all true. Beats her getting like 3 tracks on an FM album totally dominated by Lindsey.
Dave Stewart is out? Then who would produce a new album? Dave Grohl, maybe? |
I am a bit sceptical.... who are you, SLN1??
|
This feels bit like the Stevie Performing in Reno? thread from back in March. Unfortunately.

Found this on another radio station's site. i guess she REALLY felt snubbed that she couldn't do a proper 24K Gold tour.

http://www.axs.com/pretenders-vocali...an-tour--18714 Pretenders vocalist Chrissie Hynde announces solo North American tour dates Scott Shetler - AXS Contributor By: Scott Shetler AXS Contributor Sep 5, 2014 Pretenders vocalist Chrissie Hynde announces solo North American tour dates YouTube If you haven’t thought about Pretenders singer Chrissie Hynde in a while, now would be a good time to get reacquainted. The 62-year-old rock goddess issued a critically-acclaimed solo album earlier this summer, and now she has announced a 25-date theater tour in support of the record. The trek begins on October 30 in Toronto. Noteworthy venues on the six-week tour include the Chicago Theatre, New York’s Beacon Theater, and the Masonic in San Francisco. Hynde’s final scheduled date is December 6 at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. Fans can register now for a ticket presale. During the upcoming tour, Hynde has promised to perform tracks from the new record, as well as classic Pretenders material. In June, Hynde released Stockholm, the first solo album of her nearly 40-year career. The record received solid reviews and debuted at No. 36 on Billboard. Guests performers on Stockholm range from Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Neil Young to former tennis player John McEnroe, who contributes electric guitar. Hynde has promoted the album with appearances on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and “The Colbert Report.” On “Colbert,” she engaged in witty banter with the host, who jokingly asked her why she had “rejected Lady Liberty” to live in England. “I’ve got my band there, and I go where the music is,” she replied, smiling. “Sort of ‘have band, will travel.’ I’m a citizen of the world. I’m a hippie, man.” Stockholm features the lead single “Dark Sunglasses,” a polished bundle of rock energy. The track is accented by clattering percussion, a trademark of the song’s co-writer, Bjorn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John. Hmmm. Seems like it could be real but a few things don't add up for me.
If she's likely release a new album soon, why would she name the tour 'The 24Karat Gold Tour'? Surely if there was a new vault album (or an album of new material) it wouldn't be given the 24Karat Gold moniker. Wouldn't it make more sense for it to be 'From the Vault Tour' especially if there's a second vault album. Also, though I could see a joint tour with The Pretenders, aren't they a bit big to be a 'special guest' slot? ... I don't know, maybe not. |
