So going with that quote we have some gaps to fill in here.

An Oct 2017 tour start, makes you think a summer '17 Final Album release, which likely means recording won't start for another 12 months or so.

Sounds like the tour will have several legs with a on for a few months off for a few months type of feel that could stretch through all of '18, hitting North America, Europe, and likely Australia.

That leaves the rest of this year, for writing, resting, and solo work.

I guess this does clear up 2016. I wonder if they are pushing back recording until next year too. Anyone hear anything out of Lindsey's camp?
Stevie had something lined up this month, but she cancelled it because she was tired. (Heard from good source). Hopefully, 3-4 months of rest will be enough.

Yea .Thats what I've read in the other thread.If it drops this summer or late spring .So it will sit for over a year before they hit the road.

I can't really, either. With Christine talking about recording soon and Mick talking about touring next year, I think the cogs are in motion. I suspect we probably haven't heard anything definitive because everything is still in the early phases. Neither Stevie nor Lindsey are talking about solo endeavors. The clues are all laid out before us- we're all just twice bitten and jaded so we're not accepting them. :p

Yea.I know they need a break but I agree. They both could do a handful of shows like Mick is doing currently.Its a shame Stevie never had a chance to promote her 24K album.At this point its a throw away thing.

Did you have any more info about these shows? Really hope she hits the road this year.

If there is any truth to the whole Vegas thing, those shows were likely shelved because Stevie wants some actual down time before the Mac (supposedly) goes into the studio next month. Fleetwood Mac just toured for 3 years straight. She probably just wants a break so she can face being in the studio with Lindsey. :p

I agree with both of you.I hope shes doing OK health wise.A couple of like 8 to a dozen shows should be safe for her and in the meantime it would keep Waddy and the rest of her band will oiled and employed.

I dont remember hearing about the Vegas shows deal but the Reno thing last couple weeks yes.

She was booked for a short stint at Caesars, like she had done before. Don't know how many exactly though.

If I remember correctly, I think I saw someone posted an ad.

Someone I know who is close with Stevie and people close to her.

I am inherently distrustful of these situations. I remember when an "insider" told a Ledgie that Dave Stewart was unequivocally leaving his model-wife for Stevie. There have been multiple other such proclamations over the years which have turned out to be baseless as well. Take these "insider" stories with a heaping dose of salt, folks. :thumbsup:

As far as I know it's still on, but maybe that's pushed back now too because of them not touring until October 2017 per Mick. :shrug:

They still need to finish the album. They can release it whenever they want.

i would think release date would be pushed back, not recording date. they can finish recording the album now, then do any needed production, fixes, mastering, picture taking, cover selection, market research, pr, choosing how to release it, where to release it, why to release it, leak songs slowly on various social media (setting up some good social media! --> see David Bowie's last 2 albums for at least partial inspiration how it can be done, although social media keeps moving forward fast), etc etc. that all can easily take awhile after the album is finished, i really don't see them releasing it a month after they finish recording it, now that they've been waiting so long after the initial recording.

This is pure speculation, but maybe Stevie finally got her hip issue taken care of. Wasn't she nursing a bone spur in her hip for several years now, hence the Stevie wobble? I remember it being mentioned here a few times over the past several years. I hope all is well, that's for sure.
