can anyone get through on ticketmaster for uk dates?

all a get up.

i bet all the bots are buying up the tickets.

waste of time.

Dragonfly 11-13-2014 04:15 AM

Same here, couldn't get through.

Manchester sold out in less than 10 mins:shrug:(21,000 capacity!)

Can't afford the VIP/Platinum seats so look like I've had it unless they add second date.

Phil Lee 11-13-2014 04:27 AM

I think a lot of tickets went yesterday in the O2 presale.

Hello, my friend was able to get tickets. He went to Live Nation UK and was able to purchase tickets through the pre-sale.

tango87 11-13-2014 05:10 AM

Total disaster. First it told me the tickets weren't on sale yet - for about 20 minutes - then when they finally appeared, the only ones it offered me were half a mile back. I must have typed in about 100 ridiculous 'Captcha' words. Completely impossible. I'll try tomorrow in the general sale if I can get near a computer, but I'm starting to lose hope. Can't believe I let a goodish ticket slip through my fingers yesterday...

It was slow at first but eventually I could get through for most venues. There are still some left in Leeds - EDIT now sold out

I was assuming they would make more seats available tomorrow for the general sale and that they are not yet sold out?? But I don't know.

Pre-sale London seats aren't that great.

Yes, that's where I was too, but the tickets I was offered were just too far away. I've seen too many shows from the back of the O2 and you might as well be watching it on TV. I know the pre-sale selection is separate from the general sale, so I'll have another try tomorrow, otherwise I'll have to hope for extra dates.

Mr Scarrott 11-13-2014 05:57 AM

I got one for £89 in Block 110 row K at the O2, London via Livenation. Could have been better. The floor is not raked so views can be difficult- luck of the draw who who stand behind! Will try again tomorrow. Website creaked at 9:00 but got mine at about 09:10.

TheWILDheart 11-13-2014 08:35 AM

Please bear in mind folks that this is a pre-sale. Only a certain number of seats are allocated for pre-sale, the rest will be available on the general sale tomorrow.

You are quite right, of course. The whole pre-sale thing can be rather seductive and deceptive. I shall be hunched over my laptop again tomorrow morning...

julieannboo 11-13-2014 11:50 AM

they got meet and greet second row for £486 - i cant pay that!

no -it hasnt sold out - they only put a limit amount of tickets on sale today.

Dragonfly 11-14-2014 03:51 AM

Sorry, meant to say would try general sale so nothing sold out just yet.

Tried the 02 pre-sale on Weds but had no luck, in fact a few people at work tried it and not one got a ticket.

Am going to try Live Nation at 9am but am not holding out any hopes:distress:

Will be interesting to see if any of us get decent seats (if any).

Turn It On 11-14-2014 04:16 AM

Glasgow completely sold out by 9:10. What a joke. Of course ticketmaster were very keen to push towards their reseller. Scumbags.

tango87 11-14-2014 04:26 AM

Finally got my ticket! O2, May 27th, A1, Row H, Christine side!

I got it through AXS rather than the dreaded Ticketmaster...

Good luck UK Ledgies!

You're an angel thank you!

Just got an A1 ticket through AXS for the 28th, quite far back - T, but I'm ok that. Amsterdam was my back up plan, so you've just saved me a flight.

Well done you! It's been a long wait, but Ms McVie is finally coming home...

I take back everything I said before!! Thank you added dates! Row 13, I don't think I've ever been this excited!!

tango87 11-14-2014 06:22 AM

Today is a good day!

Angie1980 11-14-2014 06:44 AM

Just realized that i could have gotten the premium club experience at the O2 in London using my AMEX paying less than I did for my platinum tickets. Well well... I am going that's all that counts :]

A big thank you for the heads-up. I managed to get a decent ticket for the 22nd from AXS. Cheers!

Well thanks to tango87, Nicole (posting about extra dates) and AXS I now have a row 11 seat in London. Thank you, thank you, thank you :angel:

(not sure what I'll do with the other seat yet, may keep it or sell it)

Neil72uk 11-14-2014 06:58 AM

Does anyone know what the situation is with seats in block A at the O2? Do you have to remain seated? From the YouTube clips it looks like everyone has just moved down the front for a better standing view. Or is this a separate standing area just for fan club members?

When I saw them last year at the O2, I was in A1 and everyone stayed at their seats but stood throughout. I don't remember anyone being able to walk to the front. O2 security seem to be quite strict, in my experience...

That's where I am this time around. I normally opt for cheap seats but I thought I'd treat myself to an early Birthday present! How did you find the view down there?

The view is fab - I was right in front of Mr B, about 15 rows back - he even pointed at me as I was rocking out to 'Not That Funny'... I'm quite tall, which does help at gigs, but it's a great area generally.

ChickenStu 11-14-2014 07:26 AM

I had a surprisingly positive experience with this. I had no luck on wednesday with 02 priority so yesterday I tried with Live Nation pre-sale (which basically is done through Ticketmaster).

I wasn't expecting to get anything and at precisely 9am when tickets became available my computer started playing up. As you can probably imagine my language was rather colourful. After about ten minutes everything freed up and naturally I assumed my computer was playing up because of the demand for the tickets.

At about 9:20am I though "sod it, I'll just try it now". I genuinely wasn't expecting a positive result and was only doing it so I could say I'd at least tried.

No one was as stunned as me when I was successful and bought two tickets. Cheap ones too. Still can't quite believe it now.

In 2013 I had absolutely no luck with getting tickets for the two dates announced, but luck would have it I checked back later and an extra date had been announced. That was how I was able to get in then. So I suggest anyone who missed out watches the websites. I reckon at the very least two extra dates will be announced, and that's always anyone's best chance at getting tickets.

I was just lucky. Don't give up people!

That sounds great! I'm in row 1 and I'm also quite tall, so I'll try not to block anyone's view!

As long as I can see the screen and hear it OK from where I am I don't care. I'm just happy to be there!

Thank you too! A3 Row L. for for 22/06 I would never have thought of going to AXS. You're a star!

I hope you don't get caught in the middle of a bun fight like I did. A few people stood up for the whole show and got shouted down by the bloke behind them. It was good fun to watch!

When I saw them in 2013 I was up in the nosebleeds. Quite a few people left their seats and went and stood on the stairs. Some of them were very attractive females. It was hot in there and they were dancing and removing more clothes the hotter they got. By the end of the concert let's just say... not much was left to the imagination.

Frankly, I couldn't quite believe what I was seeing. But I didn't complain. ;)

My pleasure! It can be a stressful business... Frankly it was easier to get Kate Bush tickets!

julieannboo 11-14-2014 04:48 PM

They have only released about half of the seats. And selling the nosebleeds seats first.

Predictable.

Everyone ran to the front last year. That was the first night though.
