Stevie will be at the Morrison Gallery on 10/9.
It's invitation only, but contact the gallery if you're in town -- maybe they still have space. |
There are public dates as well:

Beginning in the mid-seventies, Stevie Nicks took a series of Polaroid self-portraits in her home as well as hotel rooms around the world while on tour. Earlier this year, during the recording of her new solo album 24 Karat Gold - Songs From the Vault, she decided to share these never-before-seen self portraits. Each one of these archival pigment prints is hand-signed and numbered by Stevie Nicks. "Some people don't sleep at night - I am one of those people. These pictures were taken long after everyone had gone to bed - I would begin after midnight and go until 4 or 5 in the morning. I stopped at sunrise - like a vampire... I never really thought anyone would ever see these pictures, they went into shoeboxes, where they remained. I did everything - I was the stylist, the makeup artist, the furniture mover, the lighting director. It was my joy - I was the model..." - Stevie Nicks NYC Exhibition October 10th & 11th, 2014 Morrison Hotel Gallery @ 201 Mulberry Street 11am - 7 pm then: October 12th - 31st, 2014 Morrison Hotel Gallery SoHo, NYC @ 116 Prince Street, Second Floor M-Sat: 11-7pm Sunday: 12-6pm In LA: Los Angeles Exhibition October 12-21, 2014 Morrison Hotel Gallery @ Sunset Marquis Hotel 1200 Alta Loma Road West Hollywood, CA 90069 M-Wed: 11am - 8pm Thu-Sat: 10am - 11pm Sun: 11am - 7pm To Contact NYC: Aaron Zych SoHo Gallery and Sales Director Morrison Hotel Gallery 116 Prince Street 2nd Floor New York, NY 10012 Phone: +1 212 941 8770 email: [email protected] To Contact LA: Gwynne Hantz West Hollywood Gallery and Sales Director Morrison Hotel Gallery @ The Sunset Marquis Hotel 1200 Alta Loma Road West Hollywood, CA 90069 Phone: +1 310-881-6025 email: [email protected] |
Looks like Dave will be there... |
I tried to get an invite and they said it was for buyers only of works over $2500.00 USD.
Anyone have an extra Plus One for this. Or anyone get an invite that is not going. I am dying to go to this but don't have $2500.oo USD to spend :( |
I was supposed to go to this but had to get back to work for a few days. The real world is never as fun as Mac World. The past week was marvelous though.
|
$2500! Does anyone know what time it starts? I have tickets to a show that night but would almost consider maxing out a card lol.

Stevie may not be there yet but Dave is. I would guess he's going over the finishing touches before the show... Looks like there will be a mini show in LA |
|
I'm confident Dave will be posting pictures of tonight's events... Stevie's people should be re-tweeting these things but what do you expect. |
Is anyone lucky enough to be going? |

http://i1361.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2cb9953c.jpg Hey, I took these! :) --> twitter.com/carriecourogen It was craziness. She came in, posed for photos, went into a curtained room for 20 minutes, came out and walked around the perimeter and posed, and left. They were yelling at everyone to move back CONSTANTLY. And she did zero press statements or interviews, save for a random tv interview - it was for like NY1 or something. I did talk to Dave, asked him how he convinced her. Hopefully I can do something with that. But otherwise, it was kind of a bust. I'm supposed to be writing about this for Bustle... you don't invite print and online press and then have no opportunities to get any quotes. |
