The rehearsal and fan footage we get of unstaged FM before the actual performance starts is going to be the best part of this live show.

I can't wait.

You have to sign up for the Today show to have access to the concerts as they give you a chance to win PIT Passes for the show. If you are not selected then you lineup with everyone else.

It's also going to be FREEZING.

It's so exciting to me -- and almost unreal -- that in just a few weeks, we're all going to see the "classic" lineup performing together again on TV for the first time in sixteen years.

Yes Stevie will be wrapped up in a bundle of warm coats and warm boots and that hat in the photo with Dave S.

The cold nights are here. The temps are not much different at 6AM or when ever they will set up in the morning. No warm socal or AZ temps here.

Me too!!! On Oct 6th I'll be seeing them in NYC and my excitement is already through the roof. I may even stay for the second show on the 7th.

Really? It's only the beginning of October?

But what do I know - being from SoCal. I am visiting Boston for the first time ever October 17 - 22. I wasn't planning on packing anything super heavy. Would that be a mistake?

It certainly CAN be cold, but it won't necessarily be. I would prepare for it. It won't likely be snowing yet at that point.

Bring a thick hoodie and a long sleeved sweatshirt. You'll either need one or the other.

Macfanforever 09-21-2014 07:40 PM

The way the cold nights are setting in here in New England.

I'm worrying about snow on Nov 1 in Hartford when FM will be at the XL Center .I'm not a fan of driving in it.

I'll say .Just dress warm for that morning.I know Stevie will be bundled up.

I hope the weather is good that day for the little show.

looking for a fan pass

Fan pass emails came today. I'm looking for one extra if anyone got it and wants to take me...

Also I saw an advertisement for FM today concert on today show yesterday morning, they played part of Dreams from the first show in Mpls and reported that reunited FM had their opening night show.

Hm. I just got an RSVP confirmation - again. I had signed up online minutes after it was announced and got a confirmation in March. But that's not the same thing as a fan pass, just letting me know the details of when to get there and such.

I don't think it will be too cold. I've been running outside the past few weeks around 6 and by then, it's already close to 70. I'd stick with jeans and a jacket, but I don't think we'll have to bundle too much. Temps are supposed to be pretty consistent through the next week.

Time?

So what time will they be on? I've got to set my DVR.

Thanks.

Lee :)

I just record the whole thing then FF. I love technology.

Macfanforever 10-02-2014 03:22 PM

I usually record the whole show just for safety myself. I'll guess after 8;30 but dont take my word on the time.I hope its a slow news day and get more FM time on TV.

[QUOTE=Macfanforever;1143640]Yes Stevie will be wrapped up in a bundle of warm coats and warm boots and that hat in the photo with Dave S.

Will Lindsey be wearing one of the millions of cashmere scarves that Stevie has given him, or will he pass for fear of it getting caught in his guitar??

I would like to point out that freezing, where I live, is -45'F. (and we have many days of the winter that are like that). NO WAY EVER they would do an outdoor concert here!! Not even sure why I live here.......

Tonight Show

I wonder if Stevie will pop over to see Jimmy at The Tonight Show and promote the tour and 24 Karat Gold?!

Thats a great idea and he can do another reenactment of one of her old videos.

It would be also great if the Mac goes on the show.

I don't think Lindsey worries about things like that. I worry for him, though. I'm always going in my head:

Don't trip over those cords.

Don't bang your hand on that thing. You will cut yourself.

Stop swinging that cord in her direction.

I'm sure someone's there to make sure he keeps warm enough.

Though she did say last year that he never gets cold, anyway.

It's supposed to be 71 degrees on that day. Hardly freezing. And snow for Hartford on November 1st? The concert is in Hartford CT, not Hartford Alaska.

Forecast is for the low 50's in the morning (Stevie better bring her winter coat like last time )... It's not uncommon for it to snow in late October in the north east.

I'd put money on Say You Love Me to showcase Christine. Not sure about the rest.

Macfanforever 10-04-2014 12:43 PM

They probably only play tunes that the general public knows.

Yes it would be great if they play deep cuts for us fans.

Maybe we can flood the NBC today show with email requests for

"Hold Me".

With popular demand the Mac would add it to the setlist.

bethelblues 10-04-2014 02:08 PM

Someone should show up with a huge poster right in front of the stage: HOLD ME is my favorite song!! lol

OR Play HOLD ME for my birthday!!!

rhiannondontgo 10-05-2014 07:36 PM

Anyone ever done the today show with fan passes before? I'm wondering if they check ID at the gate. My friend got them for us but now he can't come, he gave me the passes but they're in his name. I've done the today show but never with passes, so I'm not sure if they check ID or if you just give them the name or what.

FM77 10-05-2014 08:39 PM

Don't Stop

jmn3 10-05-2014 09:28 PM

My guess for the set Thursday morning...

Say You Love Me/Dreams/Go Your Own Way/Don't Stop

Essentially, the ultimate of ultimate warhorses setlist!

Though it would be amusing and incredibly non-Fleetwood Mac if they did I Know I'm Not Wrong/Sisters of the Moon/Over My Head/World Turning instead!
