So where are the people who have heard 24KG?
It is just a few weeks out from the 24KG's release now.By this time before the release of In Your Dreams we had a Ledgie that had heard that album as well as plenty of comments from journalist David Wild and also a record executive whose name escapes me.Surely there is someone out there has heard the album and can tell us something.

That's your cue, FM77! ;)

Just had to reboot this one since we are now coming up on one week from the vinyl release and no one seems to have heard this album in it's entirety .I had a burned promo copy of the entire TISL album 6 weeks before it's official release. There are not even any critical reviews of 24KG yet. They have done a great job of keeping this one under wraps!

there was a post about a gag order in effect till mid Oct but that might have been just for FMac, cant find it and dont remember it exact Just interviewed Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham for the upcoming Fleetwood Mac reunion tour -- the first with all five principal members since 1998. Here they are with publicist Liz Rosenberg: three legends in one shot. A moment to savor — need some scoop, pm me please, please??? Time to chat? Lindsey was lovely. A lot of water under the bridge, I reckon. I've discovered people either become harder or kinder and more understanding as time goes by, and all indications today indicate the latter for Lindsey. sorry Mike was sleeping, just wondering if you found anything out that I might not know already ie: setlist surprises or any info at all about the new album? have you heard the Stevie album, and do you have a copy for me? I saw set list. Nothing unusual, but long. New album not 'til after tour. Sorry so brief. Early here. "24k" is great! thanks Mike |

I don't think the real publicity will start until September 7...

Then you saw it for sale on the street in NYC, didn't buy it, didn't post photographic proof of it, or tell anyone where exactly & how much it was. Yet none of this matters because you can get it through multiple friends who are reviewing it, yet you've chosen not to do that either. Despite the fact that no reviews have surfaced online yet. Gotcha. |

"I could have sworn it was you who found a torrent of it, started downloading it, then became suspicious of it's authenticity? " I never said where it was ... but I am assuming you'll are looking and thinking it was on an american / english speaking sites . Continue to trash me  |
This site keeps up with leaked records in just about every musical genre imaginable and they do have a page up for 24 Karat Gold. According to Has It Leaked, there is not a leak for it yet. I have also not received any emails alerting me of a leak that just hasn't been updated on the site.
http://hasitleaked.com/2014/stevie-n...rom-the-vault/ If there were leaks and reviewer hand-outs for 24 Karat I'd think there would be full record reviews somewhere and sites like Has It Leaked would most definitely have info on it. They would link to the reviews and have one of their own up. While I don't search as thoroughly as some members here, I have found nothing. No reviews and definitely no leaks. In the time I've had Has It Leaked bookmarked I've seen the "hype" rating go up a couple of digits so I take it to mean anticipation is building for this release in more places than just where the die-hard Stevie fans congregate. Seeing that rating go up is a great thing, but it sure would be nice to see it higher than just 7 on that site. Edit: I wanted to add that Has it Leaked does not share download links for pirated copies of a leaked record. |

For what it's worth, I'm not looking for the album online, period. Much like you stated, I don't do the whole pirating thing. Plus, I will hopefully receive my LP within a week. I can wait that long. |

I mentioned I saw it and unless any of you read Chinese then what good is it to you ? I wasn't expecting the bat shi!t crazy self entitlement treatment , movies and cds leak all the time and not necessarily in this country but in the ones they are manufactured in , as for not taking a picture it never crossed my mind why would I ? i have nothing to prove I am not seeking attention , other wise I would have ,so everyone would like me and I would be popular on an internet bulletin board (how said would that be ) as for tracking me when I am not home I an usually not on line for that very reason |

For In Your Dreams, after work I drove to the nearest Barnes & Noble. 24 Karat Gold would be my first pre-order for a Stevie album. I really hope the vinyl shows up on Monday. For The Other Side of the Mirror, I remember I was 16 and had to go camping with my family, and I was aware a new album was being released, and I had heard a radio show around that time which was an interview with Stevie, and much discussion of the making of TOSOTM, with some song previews. We were camping in Marquette, Michigan, and I seem to remember oddly enough that we went to a mall (who goes to the mall when camping?), and I think it was in a Camelot Music store that I bought The Other Side of The Mirror. They had taken the promo posters for the album and cut them into giant letters to make a "S" and an "N" on the wall, which was also plastered with OSOTM album flats, and I thought it was totally the coolest thing I had ever seen. Street Angel was an exercise in frustration. It had already been delayed twice. I was getting my information from a guy who ran a poster shop - Hollywood Poster Company - on Colfax in Denver. Man, that store had every music poster you could ever imagine. Pre-internet, posters of Stevie were like sacred relics. Yes I know there was internet in 1994, but seriously like no one that I know used it at the time, and pretty much AOL *was* the whole internet, lol. Anyway, on the day it was finally released, I went to Media Play because Wax Trax hadn't ordered it. And they only had the cassette. Are you kidding me, I thought, but bought it anyway to listen to on my Walkman. I didn't have it on CD until years and years later in 1999 when I ordered the Japanese version from Amazon. |
