Ticket Drops
Anyone notice any for any of the shows yet for tickets in the first 10 or so rows? Haven't seen ANY for the two shows I'm considering. What a bummer - may not be seeing them this year!
|
I honestly stopped checking. It got so frustrating that it kind of made me lose interest.

It's also still quite early...the tour doesn't start for another four months.

I do believe there will be ticket drops as anyone who was willing to pay the ridiculous scalper /VIP prices already did so whatever inventory they have left they will have to sit on them till they decide to drop them. It may not happen for awhile yet but it will happen.
Last July the week before the show Eagles VIP tickets which as much as $995.00 dropped and went back in the pool for sale at regular price. I scored good 100 level seats close to the stage. This year the week before the concert the VIP tickets Cher was selling at up to $525.00 dropped and I scored 4 tickets in row 7 of the floor right up close to the stage. This was in Ottawa Canada. I am looking for a good seat to Minneapolis and Ottawa but I am willing to wait till the ticket drops happen. Matt |
Not that past experience is any guarantee of future results, I've started my search for prime seats about two weeks before show dates. But I would keep checking reseller sites as there are bound to be great seats below cost as the time approaches.

The only way I will be seeing them in DC on 10/31 is going to be a last minute decision. This will be a first.

Any Tickets Dropping
Have you all seen any start to drop yet? Haven't really seen anything or had any luck finding floor seats to the 2 two possible shows I may be at.
|
I gave up on opening night.
I did see 2- 2nd row tickets(regular face value) for Fort Lauderdale pop up on ticketmaster a couple of weeks ago. I'm only going to the Tampa show. I wish you guys the best of luck finding tickets. |
I'm surprised that are any tix left and shows not soldout.
Except for whats left of the inflated broker tix. |
a few shows are completely sold out (e.g. Toronto)

I apologize that I am so uninformed, and I appreciate any information from you all because you have such an excellent command of these things.
I am beginning to worry because I am travelling to DC from VB for the Halloween show, and I always buy my tickets to FM and Stevie on the day of the show. This has always turned out well in the past; however, some of you seem to think that a number of shows might be completely sold out. With Christine's return, I, too, think this is a possibility. I think there's an even greater chance of this for a Friday night, Halloween show! :shocked:Do y'all think I should get tickets early this time? I'm getting a little nervous. |
This has been crazy! Anyone see anything for shows in December?
|
MNPLS ticket drops?
Did anyone get anything? I was in the venue very early and wondered if there were any tix for sale outside? It sounds like all, shows are sold out except for Canada.
|
Have you got any inside news on possible setlist changes?
|
I wonder if Prince was there.
|
I seriously doubt there will be changes soon. You know this band doesn't change much. I did hear that Brown Eyes was never in the setlist, so I doubt it will pop up later.

Back to your initial post: I didn't check tix for MNPLS as I assumed that would be a sellout. Curious to hear if anyone tried to get tix on the day. There are tix available for some shows I have checked, mainly upper deck or back rows of the lower bowl so not yet complete sellouts. Still lots of resale options for those willing to spend $$. I am not expecting many drops. Steviegirl: I am not 100% on this but I think Prince had his own gig the same night. I do not recall specifics, just some tweets. |

Thanks, y'all. That makes sense. I just heard on the radio that he had an album (or two albums?) coming out.
|
I got a fifth row lower level single for Minneapolis about six days before the show. I had been checking every day for months. A couple weeks back, some upper-level behind the stage tix appeared but I knew I could do better.

DC on Friday/Halloween will probably be a tough ticket. Although there were guys buying singles in Chicago last night around 530pm. You might even be able to buy from someone looking to sell at the show.
There were about 20 people last night doing the meet and greet with Mick. I thought that was a lot for what he is charging. |
Thank you, FM77.:xoxo:
And I need TWO tickets, which is even worse. :( By "ticket drops," do people mean that tickets will suddenly become available? That's my last question, I promise. |
Quickie- is there typically a time of day tickets tend to drop? Morning or evening?
|
Has anyone noticed any ticket drops at all this tour? I've been checking periodically for the Texas dates, and so far nothing. Dallas is this Sunday, so I'm starting to lose hope. It looks like the shows this tour are selling out quickly with zero tickets dropping later. Or has anyone else here experienced anything different?
|
Louie...
I've been checking for Dallas this Sunday too and nada. :( VERY disappointing, but I might keep checking even tomorrow and Sunday morning, although there is 99.9% chance I will not be going at all to this particular tour. I despise seeing concerts here in North Texas as everyone is more concerned about getting drinks and running to the bathroom every 5 seconds. I think we all know how crappy the Fort Worth audience was at Lindsey's Bass Hall show....sans the few of us die-hards. ;)
Was considering going to the Oklahoma City show in March, as I saw Keith Urban there many years ago and it was wonderful, but it depends on ticket availability. I'm almost to the point where I am just....over it. Seeing arena concerts, I mean. I will definitely be seeing Lindsey when he tours solo again. |
For the Pittsburgh show there were at least 2 tickets drops that I saw but they went fast. I think at least 30 tickets in rows 5-10 were showing up about a week before the show and then the day before there were another 10 tickets or so put out there. At my work I have 2 computer screens so I just had ticketmaster up all day and let it refresh which is really the only way to get these good tickets since they were gone in less than a minute.
|
Got a 3rd row balcony seat earlier today for the Dallas show tonight-- been checking constantly for weeks and there was nothing until today. I'm in the perfect location, side-stage on Lindsey's side. Can't wait!!
|
I wish you could just pay someone to check Ticketmaster all day long for tickets for you, looking for newly released seats. I think that would cost less to pay someone to do that, than to pay the stubhub price for tickets.

PHX dropped a bunch of side stage seats on the morning of the show. |
Cleveland ticket drops
Just wanted to let all know that a bunch of tickets just dropped for the Cleveland show, few in the first 10 rows. Found floor 1 row f, good luck to all.
|
Vivid Seats and Ticket Liquidator have some good seats for Lincoln well below face. Floor and side stage.

Patience Pays Off in Lincoln
My wife and I have great seats to the Kansas City show (center floor, row 18) but we were wanting to take on a second show in Lincoln. Two weeks ago, tickets were going 50% over face value. We just picked up a pair of tickets on the floor, row 16, for $275. That's $275 for the pair!!! We bought them from a nice young man who said wasn't able to attend (he transferred them to us through Ticketmaster). But there seems to be a lot of reasonably priced tickets that are flooding the market.
|
Someone told me tickets were just released (Ticketmaster.ca) & lots of them for the Toronto show in rows 6-11 on the floor.
