Any word what the Facebook presale password is yet? I've been getting better seats lately with facebook presales rather than amex and other presales. Hope everyone gets great seats.

bombaysaffires 03-27-2014 12:58 PM

I think it's Mac.

Hellolovely 03-27-2014 01:47 PM

Would anyone be able to let me know where to go for the Facebook presale? I wasn't able to find a page on Facebook.

the fleetwood mac official Facebook page , Where were you looking ? the passwords are posted just before the sale sometimes a day before sometimes 1 minute after sale has begun ... depends on the intern running the page

Hellolovely 03-27-2014 01:55 PM

Thanks, Olive. I was looking on their FB page, but didn't see any mention of a presale for any of the events. I thought it might have been a separate page/link

According to Mick's official website, it looks like he will be doing his VIP Experience package this tour. No details yet about it though.

How do the AmEx presales typically work? Do you just have to use an AmEx card?

Yes sign in with the Amex phone number and pay with your card. Michele

Macfanforever 03-27-2014 04:45 PM

With all of these pre-sales going on.Most of the good seats will be soldout.

I end up waiting for the general sale and pray for even a nose bleed seat will be available .I just be happy to get inside .

I'm not going to get a AMEX or CitiBank card just for Ticket Bastard pre-sales or bother a friend or a family member with a card to help me get tix.

Through the years I have bought a lot of concert tickets. Sometimes the presales have the best tickets. Sometimes they don't. I guess it's really hard to know. If anyone has any insider info on these particular presales, that would be awesome. :)

Kevin

APerfectLie 03-27-2014 08:38 PM

I refuse to get my hopes up this time around. I was on top of the presales last year and could not get crap! And the general sale sucked ass too, I ended up having to buy sixth row from stubhub. But I know if I don't try this time everyone will be walking away with front row!

SadAngel86 03-27-2014 08:54 PM

Just as a heads up, FM News and Reviews have the pre-sale codes inside this article:

Montclare 03-27-2014 08:56 PM

Please excuse my ignorance (first time concert goer here), but the prices seem a bit low to me. I'm assuming these wouldn't include the floor seats, right? These would be the higher up seats? I remember someone posting the tickets they had for the United Center on either the 2009 or 2013 tour were $1800. Just wondering if these prices are for any "good" seats.

olive 03-27-2014 09:03 PM

If you're lucky you can find a good seat at $205 they are a few.... Otherwise it's pay Mick double.. Platinum seating $$$$$ or a scalper

Do you have to have an AmEx or Citi card to get PreSale tickets?

Can one pay with a different card such as Visa instead for them?

I'd like to get them, but have 2 Visa cards.

AmEx was the only offer that I heard about. "Buy your tickets a week early, with AmEx", on the local news(which btw, FM was a HUGE story today, on local news - since they're coming to Indy).
And I apparently know no one with an AmEx. No one wants to pay their annual fee. I wish I had one, NOW! lol

I dropped mine because of fee increases, however it looks like the Amex prepaid card can be used-faq link below. I have never tried it or thought to try it but I am tempted. Anyone ever do this?

Previous Amex presales haven't pulled good seats for me, but it is still worth a try.

On Mick's official website, some of the "VIP" links are now active. However, when you click on it, it just takes you to the Ticketmaster webpage for that particular tour date.

Are Mick's VIP packages being sold through Ticketmaster this tour, as opposed to his official site/groundctrl?

deluge 04-02-2014 09:12 AM

"Facebook Presale" = waste of time

For Atlanta, searching on Ticketmaster for just a single ticket, the best that came up immediately at 10:00AM sharp was (much) more than half-way back on the floor. Checking repeatedly to see if anything better might come up, the furthest section back on the floor is what typically came up.

Waste of time.

In my opinion, these "Presales" are designed by Ticketmaster to segment and sell average-to-poor ticket inventory to fans who see the word "Presale" and assume that they are getting access to special tickets because they are "Presale".

Did anyone else do better with today's "Facebook Presale"?

WildHearted 04-02-2014 09:17 AM

I had the same results for Atlanta. Here's to hoping the general sale will provide better options.

olive 04-02-2014 09:17 AM

it is and it just keep referring to the platinum seats no thanks I've seen them , my life won't end . good luck those who try .

Kubrick2788 04-02-2014 09:21 AM

agreed on the waste of time sentiment, but now we'll all be waiting for the same tickets :/ guess i'll stubhub it for this one...

ChristyL17 04-02-2014 09:27 AM

I kept getting 2 options for Ft. Lauderdale- either midway on the floor or a lower level section close to the stage row 3, so I took the lower level one. I am so short, floor level seats are no good for me unless I can get in the first section.

olive 04-02-2014 09:29 AM

seeing the GAGA and CHER shows still have plenty of seats and they have been on sale for months I may wait and see what is available the end of september beginning of october .... i don't see it selling out at these prices

stevierocks87 04-02-2014 09:31 AM

The facebook AND Amex tickets (the first presale Tuesday at 10) were very mediocre for me. Anyone have more luck the the AMEX presale?

loverly13 04-02-2014 09:35 AM

I had nosebleeds show up once for MSG, and I managed to accidentally purchase 1 ticket on the floor (far back, though) for Philly + 2 nosebleeds. I meant to buy the 2 on the floor but added things to my cart wrong. Ugh....... Any chance things will be better during general sale or am I going to have to suck it up and buy 3rd party tix?

I would expect a full promotional blitz(TV, newspaper full page ads) for Monday's general on-sale. There are already plenty of tickets on StubHub, and we are many months away from the shows. The prices will certainly drop as we approach show dates, so try not to sweat it too much.

how much are you willing to spend and remember next tour they're going to be even higher

loverly13 04-02-2014 09:49 AM

I'll sell my tickets for Philly, if anyone's interested. TWO upper level Section 203, row 10, seats 13-12. ONE floor level, section 8, row 3, seat 8. Message me if you want them. I'll take face value because I don't want to cheat anyone here.

SadAngel86 04-02-2014 10:05 AM

I cannot get any "pairs" of tickets for Chicago. It always says "high demand."

louielouie2000 04-02-2014 10:09 AM

The thing about these "Presales" is they are marketing gimmicks meant to drum up interest & ticket sales for the regular on sale dates. They're just appealing to certain captive audiences like Facebook users, Amex card holders, etc. It's all marketing, folks. Just wait until the regular on sale dates, and you'll find much better seats.

SadAngel86 04-02-2014 10:25 AM

Just bought Section 105 row 3 for Chicago. It's in the back of the arena but near the floor so my mom and I will be elevated a little bit. Didn't want to pass those up.
