Stevie Mentioned on the Today Show this morning... they made a million dollars at the end of the first tour :shocked::shocked::shocked:

She's said this for many years. And she meant she & Lindsey combined brought in $1 Million after the White Album & it's tour.

did she also mention she was a waitress??

yes and a cleaning lady who knew ?

Haha, of course! She got the waitress / cleaning lady comment in....Lindsey was holding in a giggle/smirk that made me laugh.

She didn't say they washed $100 bills in the washing machine.

So, a million almost 40 years ago must be like $5,000,000 now.

My favorite part was the revelation that Stevie has been stashing Christine's pianos in every nook and cranny of her house like an episode of Hoarders :laugh:

so bizarre...but that's why I love Stevie. Only SHE would do something like that. Maybe she had a premonition or something.

I don't think it's that bizarre for Stevie to keep Chris' keyboards. It's sweet and all that she kept them, but They were just going to sell them if none of the band members wanted them. If someone was giving away tens of thousands of dollars worth of instruments that I also had a connection to on some level, I'd take them.

I'd like to know how long the instruments have been there. Did she use them during IYD, I wonder. Michele

it is very sweet. It was probably Stevie's way of staying close to Christine in her absence.

I was wondering if she had them stored and got them out when all this started coming together so she could surprise Chris….

If that was the same dining room used during IYD it seems hella more cluttered now with no one in it than it does in the scenes where they're all having dinner

I had all my keyboards in storage in Los Angeles. I never shipped them to England. About two years ago, my manager said, "Oh, we should just sell them or give them to the band members." And Stevie said, "I'll take them!" And yesterday, we went to her house for a photo session and went to a room where she kept them safe. She didn't know I was going to come back, but she left them in great shape.

I don't think it's bizarre either. It's sweet, and makes me want a tour of her house.
