Well, here’s a thing.

Since Lilith Dorsey (of the excellent blog Voodoo Universe) and I had so much fun channelling Stevie Nicks last night during our live chat about the latest episode of AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN, that we’re going to have a contest. Best “Stevie Selfie” wins a prize!!!

If you had not heard, Stevie Nicks will be making a special guest appearance on the show this season. Show co-creator Ryan Murphy was interviewed by Entertainment Weekly online about this exciting development.

So, in the spirit of excitement beyond excitement, we’re having this photo contest.

It’s easy: Take a photo of yourself dressed up as or channelling the Welsh Witch herself, and post it to your Twitter feed, or Tweet it to us using the hashtag #StevieSelfieAHScontest. My Twitter addy is @themediawitch, and Lilith is @LilithDorsey.

No need to dye your hair blonde or buy up every lacy shawl at the Goodwill..Stevie has lots of different looks and it’s possible to capture her essence using your own creative spirit.

I had to look up the word Selfies on Wikipedia . My old brain is slow at times.

I do Selfies all the time like the last one in the IYD DVD thread and post you pix thread.

May I ask; where the original link came from? I clicked on this and it took me tot he HuffPo site but there was nothing about the Stevie Selfies contest there...did the Patheos blog post make it onto HuffPo? Just curious...

I can not seem to find a link that shows the photos so far for the contest. I am computer dumb but does anyone have a link that shows peoples photos that have been sent in so far?

So this "contest" is going on until January 8th?

Is that Stevie herself? Or someone who looks like her? It does not look like Stevie 100% so I was just curious?

The Christmas one I am not to sure, the second one looks like her for sure. The Christmas one looks like a fuller faced girl with bigger lips so I don't think its her and those eye brows are not Stevies. The only person I have really seen who could pull off a Stevie is Carry Fisher back in the day. Now that Stevie is older more people can copy her, but back in the day, no one looked like her or could copy her IMO.

Stevie always used a polaroid camera so I am 99.9 % sure the second one is her, but the X-mas one no way.

The Christmas one is Stevie. It was printed on an envelop of my tickets for one of her holiday fundraisers. I've seen it on a backstage pass as well.

Aww ok I stand corrected. Her eye brows must have been drawn more dramatic that night. The angle of her face with the camera made it look a little off. I have never doubted a photo of hers before until this X-mas one. At least I know its not a person who will enter the selfie contest lol.
