QWeekend See Stevie's Sulamith
The Frisky, November 4, 2013
http://s300.photobucket.com/user/mic...g.html?filters[user]=69606132&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=0 Gawker: I would like to speak to the person who approved this photo of Stevie Nicks and her Chinese Crested Yorkshire Terrier mix, Sulamith Wülfing, for the cover of QWeekend. It’s just seems indecent to show so much dog crotch on the cover of a newspaper. And that vagina-esque feather boa certainly isn’t helping. http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...psf36feb74.jpg |
^Vaginas don't look like feather boas.

The Frisky on IYD:
http://www.thefrisky.com/2012-09-18/...-of-my-dreams/ “In Your Dreams,” the Stevie Nicks documentary of my dreams, will be premiering at the Mill Valley Film Festival on October 12. The cameras followed the Gold Dust Woman during the making of her most recent solo record, also called In Your Dreams. Obviously, I would watch Stevie Nicks talk about a piece of poop for two hours, but this really doc really does look amazing. “With cameras in tow, documentarian [Dave] Stewart and diva Nicks set up shop in her home studio and reveal their collaborative creative process, as snippets of words and music undergo inspired tinkering and emerge as fully fledged gems. Throughout, Nicks shares intimate memories of childhood and her high-flying days with Fleetwood Mac,” says the premiere description. P.S. That’s Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics, by the way. If these clips are any indication of the rest of the film, it’s part art film/ part music documentary/ part magicalness of my favorite gypsy about her creative process. All she has to do is mention Edgar Allen Poe and Jane Eyre and I’m basically salivating. (Also the check out the second clip above, where Stevie talks about going on tour after getting sober.) And... 'The 40 year itch'...? |
Gawker [go there to read the humorous comments underneath the photo]
http://gawker.com/i-cant-stop-starin...l+%28Gawker%29 I Can't Stop Staring at This Picture of Stevie Nicks with a Dog Vagina. Excellent fringe. Terrible placement. |
Hahahahaha .Her fluffy friend could pose for Playboy.LOL....
|
Maybe it is Stevie's version of a Wülfing(Buckingham)/Nicks cover art?

re:
This is the worst photo shoot Stevie ever took. The photographer should have been hurt. Hurt bad.

That photo is from the Trouble In Shangrila era....I remember when that came out I remember thinking why would Stevie ever allow that picture to be released?
On a side note: The title the "40 year itch" along with poor sulamiths hoo-hoo showing makes me think of her lyric " my walls are flaming" |

and it doesn't look like a vagina. Sulamith's does in the pic tho  the boa ... does not help. no. that picture is not great tho. all the feathery fringe needs to p!$$ off the dog should be sitting on her lap. not being held. or Stevie's hand should be around the dog's not!vagina Quote:
 has Sulamith been in a photo shoot since? I think she fired her agent after this |

This is hilarious!:lol: I wonder why they decided to use an old photo?
When I first looked at it I did notice Sulamith's bare stomach, which looked a bit odd. I was thinking that's not very flattering. Then I started to read the comments OMG!!:lol: |
Sulamith stomach looks weird because she's been spayed. That crease down the middle is caused by the surgery scar.
|
Her stomach looks weird because she's part Chinese crested and has no hair there,so you can see the fat on her belly. Spay scars are usually very small and don't cause any weirdness. I'm a veterinarian, so I know of which I speak! Lol!

Just to clarify..I don't think I explained myself very well. I don't think Sulamith has a weird stomach at all. What I thought was weird, was that they chose to photograph her at this angle, causing all the rude comments. She has a lovely stomach.
