Don't know if this was posted already, but...
I was sitting at the kitchen table and my sister was in the family room watching t.v. and I suddenly heard the opening to "Soldier's Angel" I jumped up and ran into the other room to see why and it was the music to a commercial for "Agents of Shield" .. SOOO COOL.... :blob2:

I keep looking on Youtube and can't find it? VIVFOX??? help?? :laugh:

OMG, I heard it too. Was leaving for work and had the TV on to ABC. They were running the promo for the new show and I heard the first tone and I instantly knew the song and looked up and then she started singing. I loved it!!!! Boy is this song going to get heard more now. I wonder if it's going to be the theme song for the show or were they just using it for the promo? Either way, I'm glad it will he heard by lots of people and hear how great the song is . It is one of my favorites on the last album.

Well thank you for the compliment. I did some searching for you and sat through endless promos for this upcoming show and never heard what you did. However, many other people have reported hearing/seeing this commercial so it is bound to pop up somewhere soon and when it does, I will post it for you.

I did capture this commercial on my DVR. I always need help from my hubby in getting it moved from the DVR to computer, but if it does not show up by this weekend, will see what I can do.

I saw it yesterday during General Hospital, which I DVR. I told my girlfriend to not erase the episode as I wanted to tape the commercial and put it on youtube. However, she erased it not thinking. :(

Hopefully they will replay it again during today's episode and I'LL be in charge of the remote!!

It's awesome, btw. They use A LOT of the song.

A new promo for TV series Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been released, and this time the focus is on Avengers star Cobie Smulders.

"The battle of New York was the end of the world," she says as Stevie Nicks' thematically-fitting 'Soldier's Angel' plays. "This is the new world."

Cue chills, loads of explosions, and Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) looking sharp in a suit while flying in a private jet.

Our excitement for Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘ hasn’t abated since the announcement in May, or the world premiere of the pilot episode at Comic-Con 2013, though most new trailers and photos have shown us what we’ve already seen. That all changes with ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”s latest trailer, serving up a world premiere of new footage not seen in the pilot, we promise!

Beginning somewhat similarly to today’s earlier trailer, the new 45-second spot opens up with Agent Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) bringing Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) up to speed on life after “The Battle of New York,” before launching into a mixture of new and old footage set to Stevie Nicks’ “Soldier’s Angel.” From what we can see, one of the subsequent episodes will take place in a jungle setting with plenty of gunplay and explosions, and a captured Coulson!

While we await the September 24 premiere, we know that Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ features a cast that also includes Ming-Na as veteran agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as hacker Skye, and Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain De Caestecker as science team Gemma Simmons and Leo Fitz. ‘Ghost Whisperer’ vet David Conrad and ‘Luck‘ star Ian Hart have been added for recurring parts, though details remain light on their scientist roles.

Samuel L. Jackson previously stated that he expected to be involved with the show in some small capacity. Both Tom Hiddleston and Sam Rockwell are game to reprise their Marvel Cinematic Universe roles of Loki and Justin Hammer respectively, something we’ve analyzed the likelihood of in depth.

Hi- I was kinda bummed at the theater yesterday. I went to AMC and the preview/commercial for "Agents of Shield " came on and "Soldier's Angel" was NOT the song playing. Some slow moody music played that didn't sound anything like it.

Wonder if SA is only being used temporarily for the tv commercial?

I went to theatre this weekend and saw Woody Allen's new movie, Blue Jasmine (not very good), this came on without stevie's song

First of all, let me say I loved The Avengers and am really looking forward to this show! I also love that Stevie's song is getting the extra exposure. However... am I the only one that doesn't think it's really appropriate?

Knowing how heavy the experiences were for Stevie that led to the writing of this song, I'm kinda surprised she agreed to let it be used to promote what's really mindless, summer blockbuster television... :shrug:

I saw the promo last night. Does anyone else think it sounds different than on the album? To me, in the ad, it sounds processed or something. Stevie's voice sounds a little different.

Yes, Stevie's voice sounds different, like it's sharper. Closer to my ear. Higher in the mix somehow.
