It's anybody's guess really because they're not in the picture but whoever it is, she's glad to see them!!:shrug::]:]:]:]:]It would be interesting to speculate though! :nod: Maybe someone should start a new thread with suggestions on who it might be!!

Is this the letter, (Picture 5), Stevie's mother wrote about her that was on this site a while ago?
It was written before she became famous and her mother was hopeful that everything would be okay for her in the future!! Stevie looks emotional reading it!

Agreed. That photo is AMAZING. However Grohl just enhances the already perfect perfection. :]

I think that's when Dave Grohl showed up & surprised her at the IYD screening here in Austin (she performed with the Sound City Players later that evening). Dave ended up watching the movie sitting next to her. It was pretty neat sitting in front of Dave Grohl, Stevie Nicks, and Dave Stewart :laugh:

No, that would be Liz Rosenberg, Stevie's publicist.

No, the letter you're thinking of is from Barb to a friend or relative, I don't remember. And it's updates on the family and the Stevie part says: "Stevie is in New York and I hope her show is going well. Maybe they will make some money one of these days. We are still contributing to her upkeep. She is still the same sweet, spoiled, lazy joy of my life."

The letter Stevie is holding in that photo is the one she wrote to Barb, while at Sound City. That letter says:
"Dear Mom and Dad and Chris,
Well, here I am once again at the famous Sound City recording studio. I’m getting very tired of sitting around listening to 12 hours of music per day. Oh well. I know it will pay off in the end. It will all be worth it. I hope that all of my little family is doing fine and not working too hard. Moving right along, I just want to say that I certainly do miss you all and wish you could be here to hear some of this stuff. Lindsey may go down in history as one of the greats in guitar playing. It really is quite amazing. Well, no more news as of yet. So much love to you all, and hold good thoughts about this thing. I love you. - Stevie"
