Breaking news re tonights show!!!!
 

I am staying at a downtown hotel and I overhear a couple talking with some big shot who conformed that the band is indeed staying here and that if you come later on at the bar you just might see them. Plus he said if he heard right Chrissy is here tonight. Could this mean she is going up on stage???

Thank you for letting me know. Although I only live maybe 15 minutes from the concert, I didn't plan for it. I really want to go, but I'm not up for going downtown tonight. Crappy day at work. Getting ready for layoff. I'm looking forward to reading everyone's updates tonight. HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT TIME!

They have been in Columbus for a few days; dress rehearsal 2 nights ago I think. I am surpised no one discovered them until now.

Oh I got Chrissy Hynde! She is from Ohio..Didn't think she was tight with anyone in the Mac though.

I hate it when people refer to her as "Chrissy" or "Christie".

Sometimes, I get the impression that people might have called her that before she moved to America, but not so much since then.

Yeah and I think that she and the Mac could do a great live version of "Back on the Chain Gang"!

As much as I would prefer Christine McVie - Chrissie Hynde on stage with Fleetwood Mac would be really exciting, too. Just imagine what a big surprise and what great fun this would be! :D

But still, I don't believe that Chrissie Hynde was meant here. :cool:

I find it odd that IF Christine were to perform tonight that it wouldn't have been advertised. It's not like the show is sold out.

OTOH, I could see her not wanting that type of pressure.

Well, I'm headed out now...first to the LaFogata Grill restaurant right there on high street....maybe I'll run into some ledgies while I'm there. I should be there around 615pm. I dunno, I might head out to the Hotel Ren after the show and hang out at the bar area. Not sure though if it's just a ploy to drum up some additional business for the hotel tonight.

And let me tell you one thing: the more I think about it, the more I would love to see Chrissie Hynde perform a song with Fleetwood Mac on stage.
She could absolutely take over some of Christine's vocal lines and it would be so... bizarre, yet perfect and wonderful. I would love it! :lol:

FYI: I did go to the bar (Renaissance Hotel) immediately after the show and stayed an hour, but nobody showed up. It was probably just the hotel staff or bartender trying to drum up business by putting out a false rumour. Oh well.

No updates on this.I dont see why not invite Christine for the opening show.
Or any other celebs to that matter. I just cant stand when people make up rumours and spread them.

I was skeptical as to whether or not it would turn out to be true. I was sitting in the lounge and these women and their spouses were talking and saying all this stuff about the band being here and Chris being in town so I asked a staff member and he said that they were here and that if wanted to see them come down later in the evening as they like to hang out at the bar and then he said that the bit about Chrissy being there. I admit it I was excited about the prospect but I also wondered whether or not it would be true. The one thing that was nagging me though was the fact that since she was spotted in Hawaii we have heard nothing. Did she already go back to England?

The next person that calls her Chrissy gets an official :mad: from me, along with all the bad karma I can send your way.


Can I tell you why people SUCK? I told a new friend, yesterday, that I was going to see FM on Thursday. The response?
"I just love her". (obviously meaning the goated one...)

But FM was perceived to be that singular entity. Stevie Nicks killed any future evolution of my favorite band... Bah, bah, bah.....

I know that was mean,But in reality we all know Christine is done with the touring part of the band we all hope for her one day but I don't see it happening at all. I am going to try get a ticket for the show at Mohegan Sun next saturday.I will break out my bank roll and go to the show I need a mac attack and a release to relax.I hope walmart still has ticketmaster and I will be happy with what is available.I need a little fun so I am going to go.:blob2:
