Lindsey Appearing on American Country Awards Tonight

Lindsey will be appearing on the American Country Awards tonight to introduce a special performance from Keith Urban and young musicians from the Grammy Foundation's Grammy Camp. Be sure to watch it live at 8pm PST on Fox.

yeah... seems like LB has been hanging out a lot in Nashville during the tour last summer and meeting with people. Keith Urban also posted a pic on FB which looked like maybe Walter Egan was in the back but i'm not sure. his appearance here may be the result of all those Nashville visits? :shrug:


EDIT: i looked at the pic KU posted on my computer (as opposed to my tiny phone)... definitely not Egan.

Well, this is a GRAMMY thing too -- you see them all courting the GRAMMYs all the time - maybe he's on some committee or something.

Just saw LB! He looked great of course....seemed a little nervous though.

what i liked? they played Tusk when he was coming to the stage, not GYOW. :thumbsup:

Funny - I thought the opposite. I thought Kristen looked a little bit strange but that Lindsey was looking pretty nice. :lol:

You know it's the camera angle. When they shoot down on him like that, it doesn't look right to me.

I love that they played Tusk too! I'm sure he appreciated that as well :) Poor thing, tripped over his words a couple times. Adorable. I love his hand gestures when he talks, very politician-like. :xoxo:

I was just getting into bed & had the TV on those awards (though I'm not into country music) when Kristin Chenoweth started talking about Fleetwood Mac. I said to my husband, now why are they talking about Fleetwood Mac on a country awards show, when out came Lindsey B. I had no idea he was going to be on there. And when he introduced Keith Urban as his friend, who knew? :shrug:

yeah... Keith Urban is a big fan. he cites Lindsey as one of his biggest guitar influences (he's a fingerpicker also).

i don't know, they just have their hands/arms over each others, i don't see her holding his wrist? to me that pose of Lindsey and Kristen says these people are partners, secure and comfortable with each other... similarly like those pics of them at the US Open few years ago.

I'm pretty sure Kristen's were purchased.

oh, i just meant the position looks uncomfortable lol. and yeah it isn't really his wrist. i didn't mean it as an observation about them, i would say that about the position regardless of who was in the pic :)

Well, they fit her. I just think she's Nordic or something. Seems natural and her daughters look the same.

As opposed to older actresses who show up with collagen lips and higher cheekbones and I think they might as well glue the business card for their plastic surgeon on their forehead.

Yeah, I remember Urban and Kidman showed up at the first Atlanta date for UTS and Urban was talking about Lindsey in his interviews. Very nice.

Really! I was there and this is the first I'm hearing about it.

Yes, I was there too. I didn't see Keith Urban at the show, but when I read the reviews about it they mentioned him. I think it was even in People magazine. Lindsey's show got some backhanded publicity because they took a photo of Keith and Nicole there.

^Keith was at Lindsey's UTS Ryman show in Nashville. And I think he covered a LB song in his shows that year.

Keith's drinking problem had come up just days later. I think he made the announcement the same week that Lindsey's UTS tour started, so the press started focusing on everything that he had done in recent days leading up to going public with the alcohol.
