Fantasy Springs-March 2, 2013; Indio,CA
Tickets go on sale this morning at 10:00 a.m. PST for Fantasy Springs Event Center, Indio, CA
Prices $69-$109. Not a big fan of this venue and am skipping it. Best way to get front row in sections A or C (won't get B as the first ten rows of that section are reserved for tribal members) is to call FantasySprings Box Office. Good Luck! Carol-Lynn |

This is cool and all, and I hate to be picky, but I'm not diggin the news of the tribal people getting the first several rows in the middle. That blows. However, I plan to call and go online at 10am to see what they offer. |
bless her heart..she never stops working.....she gets some ribbons and some bows and gets back on the road again!
|
I'm glad she's making a Cali stop.
|
There's a package offered for 2 tix, row 9,10, or 11 middle section, one night stay for $509. First 8 rows are comped and tribal members only. I read old posts that security sucks there too. Not sure if it's worth it for me.
|
Not to be negative, but I just got a message from someone who saw her there last year. She said she'd never go back, because of security and the tribal people that arrive late, then don't even stay long. I trust this persons opinion, and she is a huge SoCal Stevie fan. I'm going to pass on this show.

I've been there and can attest it does suck but as it may be the last time we get to hear IYD songs live, I might still go. Just wish she'd do New Orleans again

[artist makes personalized tamborines]
Press Enterprise, February 22, 2013 http://blog.pe.com/audio-file/2013/0...ng-on-march-2/ FANTASY SPRINGS: Stevie Nicks performing on March 2 Stevie Nicks, mistress of the flowing scarf and one of the top female rock vocalists of all-time, is coming to Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio on Saturday, March 2. Tickets are $69-$109 and are available online. But here’s a gift idea for your favorite Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac fan–a personalized tambourine. Artist Johanna Pieterman has been making customized art of Stevie Nicks (and fans) on tambourines for years. Want a “Rumours”-era Stevie on a tambourine? She can paint that. Stevie sitting on a crescent moon? Check. Stevie wearing a top hat and you dressed in a work shirt and tie? Done and done. The tambourines are slightly more than a concert ticket. A solo portrait (you, Stevie, your dog) painted on the tambourine runs $280 and a portrait of two people, including Stevie, runs $320 before shipping. If you want some Stevie artwork but can’t afford a tambourine, Pieterman offers other artwork of the singer as well at www.stevie-art-prints.com. |

http://www.hollywoodtoday.net/2013/0...own-dont-stop/ Stevie Nicks is part of rock ‘n’ roll history she shared Fleetwood Mac’s hits and her own bewitching, emotionally charged songs March 3rd, 2013, Hollywood Today by John Rowlands Palm Springs, CA(Hollywood Today)3/3/13/–Opening with a former closing number ROCK AND ROLL, was a note of change as Stevie Nicks took to the stage Saturday night AT FANTASY SPRINGS. As a member of Super Group Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks is part of rock ‘n’ roll history. There was a time when one in four homes in America had a RUMOURS album on the turntable or in the tape player. As a solo artist/writer she solidified herself as one of music’s most prolific singer/ songwriters. That comfortable history was onstage Saturday night at Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino as she shared Fleetwood Mac’s hits and her own. Nicks joined Fleetwood Mac with Lindsay Buckingham in 1974 and turned the band towards commercial success. The album “Fleetwood Mac” included Nicks’ “Rhiannon” and “Landslide.” Then came the classic “Rumors,” which has sold more than 40 million copies and is the eighth best-selling album of all time. In 1981, Nicks released her solo record “Bella Donna” and cemented herself as a brilliant storyteller with “Leather and Lace,” “After the Glitter Fades” and “Edge of Seventeen.” Fleetwood Mac finished rehearsals last month and is about to embark on a 2013 reunion tour, with stops in Los Angeles and Anaheim in May. Nicks recently taped an episode of “CMT’s Crossroads” with country superstars Lady Antebellum. It is scheduled to air later this year. With her bewitching, emotionally charged songs Stevie Nicks cemented her status as one of the most distinctive female voices in music today. Producer/songwriter Dave Stewart was one half of the influential pop/rock group the Eurythmics with Annie Lennox. In 2010, these two icons paired up to write and record Nicks’ highly acclaimed album, IN YOUR DREAMS. Co-directed by Stewart and Nicks, this rousing documentary charts the album’s creation and peeks inside their unique creative process. A multi-media entrepreneur, Dave Stewart is recognized as one of the most respected and accomplished talents in the music industry today. Beyond his creative work as a musician, Stewart is a renowned producer, author, director, photographer, filmmaker, and philanthropist. Stewart’s music career spans three decades and more than 100 million album sales, highlighted by his collaboration with Annie Lennox in the groundbreaking pop-rock duo Eurythmics. Wow what a show last night. Stevie was so talkative at the show and had great energy. After the first two songs she was talking in a Transylvania sexy voice sayin " welcome to the fantasy springs casino haha". She said that last night was the final night of the IYD tour and that she had to say goodbye to her solo career for a while. She took extra special time with the band introductions. You could tell she was in a good place and ready to do the mac thing. She was wearing small black boots! She was moving around very nicely. She also mentioned with introducing waddy that he her and lindsey were great friends prior to the mac. When they signed with the mac lindsey didn’t like sharing so she had to say goodbye to waddy. But she was so excited when she was gonna record bella donna and she called waddy and was so excited! She did drop annabel lee and what it’s worth from the set but GDW had an extra-long intro and ending. I could not believe the crowd sat for almost the entire show. We were up most of the show, what a lame ass crowd! Security was lined up in the aisles escorting people back during edge! Finally someone got up and i told Jeremy go go go go, he said but but.,,, no buts GO! You could tell stevie was like where are all the people!!! Only like 5 of us at most were up in front of the girls so i thought it was extra special to see stevie up at the stage. She looked beautiful and smiling ear to ear! We were quickly rushed back by security after. She asked for a moment of silence while introducing moonlight since twilight is all over LOL. She thanked all of us for supporting IYD and how proud she was of the cd. She mentioned jessie many times during the show and i found out after that she was in the row behind me haha. She almost lost it introducing lori last night. Introducing love is she mentioned jessie again and said she might be the next stevie nicks! She said the song is about having a love, losing a love, and being ok with it. She took a lot of time introducing the band. She said you know a year goes by fast and she wishes she could take everyone with her on the tour! She also after Stand Back said that the cape was the original capes from the stand back video so if you buy something, don’t go cheap basically! So all is good! She left us with take care of ourselves so we can see each other real soon and she said without all of us, she could not do what she does so we have a special place in her heart. She then said, see everyone real soon! Yeah next time it is the MAC! |
I did a Youtube search and found this posted a couple days ago.

Another one
|
According to someone, she also said she would be on tour with Fleetwood Mac for a year and then it's back to making new music.
|
^Interesting. So, the question becomes, when Stevie says a year, does she mean the rest of 2013 or does she mean from April 2013 when the tour starts to, perhaps, April 2014?
