What's your karaoke song?
Hi guys
Since I was at karaoke the other night, I thought this might be a fun thread! If you're doing karaoke, or something similar. what's your favourite song to do? I have tried Mac/Stevie stuff but man, some of them are so difficult! Now obviously I'll just belt anything out in the private rooms with only friends and beer but if I like to actually sing I have to be careful! I have an ok voice but I know what I can and can't do! I personally do a mean Honky Tonk Women (Rolling Stones)! So much fun! So what's everyone else's choice? |
Sarah McLachlan - Fallen
Eva Cassidy - Penny To My Name |
Stand Back. So much fun!

I've done a full song, what seemed like an hour long, performance of Piano Man that sounded good to me....but I was many drinks in, so I truly hope that one was never recorded! |

I love going to see karaoke - but I don't sing. Ever. Oh, the horror!
|
I only do it in the private rooms with a group of friends. Then it's fun!

By myself:
Gold Dust Woman The Warrior (Scandal feat. Patty Smyth) With a male duet partner: Stop Draggin... Paradise by the Dashboard Light (Meatloaf) Group: American Pie (Don McLean) The Kids Aren't Alright (Offspring) |

I've been singing karaoke for years. I go to a place that has a fantastic sound system and selection. And many very good singers.
Here's some of my regular tunes that I do quite well "if I do say so myself." Billy Squier - The Stroke Stevie - Edge of 17 Concrete Blonde - Joey FM - Go Your Own Way Maroon 5 - This Love Billy Idol - Rebel Yell Daughtry - It's Not Over Thanks for this thread! :) |

I have to say Christmas tunes.Don't remember the words of any other songs.
|
Blondie - Heart of Glass.
Only because I only do karaoke when I'm drunk, and when I'm drunk I think I can sing high notes. |
