For you guys who are friends with John on Facebook, why does it say that he lives in London? Just that alone made me think it was a fake account. That and the fact that the pictures in his profiles aren't really pictures I'd think he'd put up.

But it seems like a legit account to you?

It's funny that you ask this as I just friended him, Sara Fleetwood, and Ken Caillat on Facebook 2 days ago. Both Ken and Sara accepted my request but John has yet to. Also both Ken and Sara have him as friends so I personally think it's the real deal.

About a week ago, there were pictures posted of several of Stevie's album covers, and one of Buckingham/Nicks. Someone asked if the latter had been reissued, and he replied that it had. So that was definitely strange. However, Richard Dashut, Sara Fleetwood, and Jimmy Paxson are all listed as friends, so I don't know.

So far I've had Lindsey, Stevie, John, Mick, Ken and Bob Welch on my friends list. The last two were the only legitimate ones. I found out that the first four were being "run" by the same lady who ran an almost cult like Stevie fan group on FB claiming to be her. I called the woman out on this by pointing out that Stevie neither has internet prowess nor a computer. Hooo Mama! Those brainwashed people pounced on me like a pack of Hyenas and claimed IIIIIIIIII was the Troll. Never been more amused in my Facebook life.

The words "Well" and "Duh" spring to mind. The Stevie Nicks Appreciation Society is the cult like Stevie group I mentioned. I know that there's a single woman behind all of the so called "celebrity" profiles in that group.

Well, I'm friends with the real Billy, Rick, Bekka, and the late Bob Welch, so it was a possibility!

And like "I'd" join a SN Appreciation Society! I'd be more likely to join the Headbutt All Chiffonheads Society!:lol:

So am I (Well...apart from Bekka), but I knew better than to believe the "fab four" were involved in Facebook, lol. Whatever you do, if you feel tempted to join that group to cause a little trouble..DON'T! They are some of the craziest people I've ever come across on Facebook.

And I've read that Bekka has reached her maximum limit.

I won't be joining anything Nicks related(outside of a FM context).

You know, people think I hate Stevie. That's not the case. HOWEVER, a large percentage of her fans drive me absolutely batsh*t crazy. Because they are!:lol:
