Stevie spotted in Maui

Stevie Nicks was spotted on Maui yesterday at Cheesburger in Paradise in Lahaina, just down the street from where Mick Fleetwood's new restaurant will be situated. That would be Karen to Stevie's left in white.

I do not like the way Karen feeds Stevie! Stevie should hire someone else to do that.

Yes she looks so young there.Some of these other singers at the same age look like a granny because they aged.Stevie didn't age.

I'd be so scared of the look Stevie would give me if she saw me taking that photo. But I'd want to do it. I'd probably take it from the back to hide and then when I posted, none of you would believe it was really her:laugh:.

Since Mick, John, and Lindsey all own property in Hawaii now I'm going to try & hold on to my relentless optimism and hope this is a Fleetwood Mac related trip. I wonder if Stevie & Mick have spoken since Mick's scathing Playboy interview? I'm guessing they're on speaking terms, or she would not be in Maui. :shrug:

I love when she wears her hair up in any way. It puts to rest all the wigs and weaves rumors and clip in hair extensions underneath. Clearly you would be able to tell those sitting behind her. I've always said I believe she's always had longish hair of some sort ever since she arrived on the scene way back then and just has a gorgeous head of hair today.

Although he does hang out at the Kahului airport looking for handouts from arriving passengers, you don't have to see Mick when you're in Maui!

I'd guess they are on speaking terms, too. Although she was estranged in the nineties for awhile, I think that was an anomaly. I don't think Stevie's going to be mad at Mick for that long under most circumstances, especially not at this age.

True. But Maui's one of the lesser populated Hawaiian islands... if Stevie showed up there, you can guarantee Mick would get wind of it. I doubt she's mad at him for his tell-all interview, either. She knows any press to do with Mac related drama is good press. We know Lahaina is one of Stevie's frequent vacation spots, but I still have to wonder if she's trying to mend bridges with Mick while she's down there. I'm probably reading too much into it, though... I'm just really yearning for another Mac album. It's been almost a decade since Say You Will was released! :shocked:

I'm clueless - what did Mick say in his interview that could be so incendiary? Has something recently occured? Because otherwise, hasn't everything that has happened been written and/or spoken about?

Mick was the same old Daffy Duck of rock that he has always been.La Nicks has known him for over 37 years I doubt that she batted an eyelash over it.

Mick was interviewed for playboy last month and said due to Stevie's passion for her last cd IYD he doubts that FM will ever tour again....IMO he didn't state anything but the obvious. I'm not sure why Stevie would be upset. We all know in October or November they will be working out the details on a tour or a new cd release.

He makes Stevie sound crazed for holding onto her album, selfish for refusing to rejoin the band so the other members can support their families. I think the tone of desperation is stemming from Mick's divorce... we all know how the man is very codependent. With his wife gone, he needs his Mac fix more than ever.

I was just thinking of if they are patching things up with Mick while she there in Maui.I hope
Mick will appolize to her.This will make her feel alittle better when she hits the road without worrying about that on her mind.

Oh yea .The pigtails do remind me of Suzanne Somers and Cindy Brady.

The next TV/Radio interview. Stevie should clear the air on this with Mick.If Mick is looking for work .He could join Stevie on the road as a guest drummer.The other guys wouldn't mind.

But I don't think he does want them in the studio. Another album won't make him any money. The sales potential is limited, and he gets no songwriting royalties. He wants them out on the road where they can all cash in.

The Baby Jane dress looks uncannily similar to the white dress with the waist sash that she wore during her encores at the Fillmore last year..no matter how hard I tried I could not put it out of my mind as I watched.:laugh:
