Anyone know what this is all about? I saw it on Tumblr.

poetinmyheart 04-10-2012 02:15 PM

I just saw it on tumblr too. I think Sanne2 posted it. I was wondering the story behind it as well?

beccamorrisfift 04-10-2012 02:30 PM

It's a Warner envelope that looks about disc sized, so maybe she is returning a demo or a crucial recording that they ruined, hence her angry letter.
I wish I was Sherlock Holmes from the BBC's Sherlock. That dude is so cool.

cliffdweller 04-10-2012 02:44 PM

"You've nearly ruined the career of an international superstar!"

Talk about your drama! This is hilarious.

She is nothing if not modest  The fact that SUPERSTAR is in capitals makes it even funnier for me.

BombaySapphire3 04-10-2012 03:07 PM

I'm just wondering what it is that someone did to potentially ruin her career that she hasn't tried herself at some point.

And Watson's not so bad either. I wuv Tim Canterbury still. Glad to see Freeman again.

But anyway, he would be able to get so many clues from the ink used, the paper, and the handwriting.

Sherlock would have no issue in deducing that this letter was written on a warmish day; June 14th I believe. Slight westerly breeze. The ink pen itself contained 11.5 grams of Tannic acid, suggesting that Stevie was in fact suffering from a slight iron deficiency at the time of writing whilst listening to her small Yorkshire Terrier reciting his one Pup play he was planning to submit to the Reader's Digest.

HejiraNYC 04-10-2012 03:34 PM

I dunno... to me it looks like "...nearly ruining the carrier of an international SUPERSTAR..." Maybe this was a missive written to someone handling one of her dogs. Perhaps she was about to compete in the Westminster Dog Show...

michelej1 04-10-2012 03:39 PM

"Broken my heart" is Stevie's catch phrase.

It's like people are waiting for it now. Oh, and by the way . . .

You crack me up (as does Stevie) :D

SNicksed 04-10-2012 03:55 PM

The last line looks like "You don't care anyway"

That's right! Snap!

Sanne2 04-10-2012 04:36 PM

I think it was first posted here a few years ago.
I was thinking that maybe it had something to do with the Klonopin addiction? Didn't she say that it almost ruined her career and that she was very angry at the doctor(s) that prescribed it to her?

Looks like the very bottom says "you don't care anyways"

KarmaContestant 04-10-2012 04:58 PM

I don't know where or when, but I could swear I've seen this before with a reference to the release of Sometime's It's a Bitch.

jkmaletic 04-10-2012 04:59 PM

Whatever it's about, she was totally dramatic about it! Looks like she maybe wrote it on some promotional pad of paper from a recording company?

She was going through a very difficult time then and they told her if she didn't record that song with Bon Jovi, her career would be over.

On my birthday no less! Stevie and her Yorkie were down the street from my bash.......that westerly breeze was filled with musk and herb that overwhelmed her senses causing Stevie and her dog to accidentally switch their written notes! :woohoo:

Macfanforever 04-10-2012 07:12 PM

Wow .She's pissed off. Something got her ticked off.She kept it clean with no cursing.

"Don't call. Don't bother " on the bottom

This is an awesome find. It looks like she did some underlining of the "wea" in the corner. I am hoping that this has nothing to do with the BonJovi song, but who knows.

WildHearted 04-10-2012 08:31 PM

Ahahah I love her and this. Too funny.

She makes me so happy. So dramatic. And for what? We may never know.

michelej1 04-10-2012 08:32 PM

I am going to start signing my letters to people I don't like:

No love,

Michele

People are talking in the Rumours thread about how a book written by Stevie would be so intelligent. It would be so much better than the childish scribble of CAH. :p

Have those people seen this?

APerfectLie 04-10-2012 08:49 PM

Idk who it was directed at, but it should have been mailed to whomever told her to wear the Frankenboks!

tabruns 04-10-2012 10:02 PM

I may have missed something but how do you all know - absolutely for sure - that this was written by Nicks?

Well I don't think any of us are hand writing experts, but if you compare the style and penmanship to other things she HAS written for sure, you'll see that they are pretty much the same.

Macfanforever 04-10-2012 10:18 PM

They seem not to care today. She should of dump WB/Reprise along time ago and go indie label.

Finally someone has posted a picture of the promo
album (Bella Donna) that Stevie left for Lindsey
during the Mirage sessions. After reading this, you now
know why Lindsey didn't take it home. And if the rest of
the Mac read this(?), I don't imagine they were happy with
it either.

LOL. You know Stevie did say she wrote Lindsey a sweet little note to go along with the album he left on a stair. I'd love to see the note she wrote him. I mean, I'm sure it was kind, but it would be amusing too.

She should of sued that doctor and have his practice shut down and revoke his license .He was a pill pusher.

GoldDustGypsy 04-11-2012 07:26 PM

....am I the only one that thinks that Stevie wrote this with sarcasm and humor?
