Favorite Buckingham Nicks not written by LB

Vote for your favorite song written by Stevie with Lindsey singing either opening or lead vocal.

Base your vote on the Buckingham Nicks album recording only.

**Technically Frozen Love is a co-write, but the lyrics are Stevie's. Per Stevie, Lindsey wrote the guitar solo.

I had to do it. I shook it up and voted Crystal. It was tough. But, this version is just perfection.

Frozen Love has a life all it's own. It reigns supreme anyway!

I thought Lindsey and Stevie both wrote Frozen Love.

Well, he wrote the music. I shouldn't do this stuff before coffee!

lol! I understand! :)

have to go with Crystal.

with SN's singing (i'm being nice while sounds of crow come to my mind, i can't stand her way of singing on most of BN album. plus strongly dislike LB's voice at the time), i can never quite make it to do guitar solo on FL.

Trying hard not to hyperventilate and fall over....

see - there's a reason (among others!) i don't post in SN forum.

[and... just expressing how i feel about the songs...]

Frozen Love

Well, I can understand your taste as far as preferring LB -- but you don't like him in BN?? :(:(:(

I'm crushed... respecting your opinion... but still crushed!

Voted Crystal - the BN version is my favourite. Beautiful. Was tough though as Frozen Love is epic. Both great songs.

I think she herself is probably not happy with her singing on BN. Now, I don't think the reason for her singing is that she was deliberately holding back or just concentrating on making Lindsey look good, as she has said, but I think she is aware that she does not necessarily sound great on the album. Maybe she had a helium addiction -- ahead of her time.

 THIS blows my mind. Lindsey singing Crystal is :blob1::blob1: I can't get more than three words into it when Stevie sings it - and I actually like a fair amount of her stuff!

This was especially tough since the two songs are so night and day. I really do love them both. I went with FL though, 'cause I figure he could still do it in concert one day  whereas Crystal for me worked best when he was young. Not much of a reason, but it's the best i can do!

I think it's safe to say Frozen Love is the winner, but we'll give it another day before closing the poll.

Crystal lovers, cast your votes!!

I voted "Crystal." I know FL is more of the cult classic, but "Crystal" is just stunning to me and I love Lindsey's voice on it.

I know! I love them both for different reasons and how can I not love the guitar solo in FL, but Crystal is just so beautiful!

i voted Crystal, but i will say with no remorse "good riddance to it" :D :wavey:

I like both, but I'm a guitar guy so it's got
to be Frozen Love.

With a ten-point lead it's Frozen Love.
