NOTS 2012 has been announced!

I will be there again this year and I hope to meet up with Ledgies this time. We need to set up something for all of us before hand.

So excited for my first NOTS!

Just booked a flight w/ one of my freebies that was due to expire on 5/17.

I'd love to go again and hope to! I went to 19 and 21 and had a blast. It looks like it'll be another fabulous NOTS!

Thats great news.Maybe I will come down to check it for the first time.Also with luck the dates wont clash if Stevie starts touring at the same time.

They asked me back to open this year and I couldn’t be happier. I’m very thankful. Looking forward to meeting some newbies this year.

Kylie - I've hosted many CD release parties at Omega. You'll have to come to Omega in DC for the next Kylie event :-)

Sorry, no. I meant that few clips we saw on here. The ones you posted. How popular are the Kylie events in the US? I'm always interested because even though she has broken through a bit over there I'd imagine she's still a bit of a cult artist apart from Can't Get You Out Of My Head? I've certainly never heard of any of her singles doing massively well on the charts other than that one.

I hope you treat the crowd to a fair bit of her early material since it really wasn't know there either. I always think Shocked and Step Back In Time would do SO well at those nights.

Kylie - oh yes, I've played everything .... I go all out for Miss Minogue. Love At First Sight charted something like #23 and received a fair amout of air play at the time. Come Into My World and Slow both peaked at #91. What can I say, American radio is a pile of dog poo. :laugh:

Even I'm Over Dreaming (Over You), Made In Heaven and One Boy Girl (possibly the worst song she's ever recorded!)??

I always thought In Denial would do really well too, her dark and moody duet with the Pet Shop Boys. Sorry, we've kinda hijacked this thread.

Gosh, I wish I could go to one of these! I have no way of getting there though D:

I have family on Long Island, but will probably be staying somewhere in the city Friday night, like we did last time.

I have to say that having NOTS on Mother's Day week-end has created kinks in my travel plans. I am still going but am having to return home on Sunday morning to be able to spend Mother's Day (which is also my birthday!) with my family. Oh, the drama.

The Kylie Aphrodite album could have been a modern pop masterpiece if she had trimmed it to the top bits and included the two Xenomania tracks (the two best songs I've EVER heard by her) which she relegated to bonus tracks in foreign lands (US and Japan respectively).

'The Play Babies'... a performance art group that I am in will part of will be a part of NOTS this year! Just thought that I would throw that out there. Who is going this year/ any suggestions for first timers?!

That is very cool. I hope you have a good time. I will be there. This will be my second time. Don't know how it is for performers, but it is very hot and stuffy. Dress as lightly as possible.

this is hilarious, but i'm a huge kylie minogue fan as well. kylie and stevie aren't exactly similar, but for some reason they kind of hit me in the same fuzzy place around my heart. so happy to know there are other fans who like them both!

I never realized so many Ledgies were from KY until just a few days ago when I started actually paying attention. I love it! Richmond and Pike Co. here (college student....and if you didn't know Pike Co.=middle of nowhere) :laugh:


I would absolutely love to go to NOTS this year. However I'm a poor college student and every bit of extra money I have is going to my Stevie Nicks tour fund. :nod:
