The Talk CBS
Finally Stevie is going to on the Talk this Sept 13th....
Funny that she is doing it since there was that tweet a while back when someone asked a producer of the show if she was asked to be on and he said she declined the offer. |
This is good news again she will be treated very well on this show
|
I wonder if this means that Stevie will actually sit down and talk with the hosts and not just perform. That should be great. I hope they ask her some fun things and get a little silly and giggly with her.

I never heard or seen the show.but I'll watch now.
|
Sara Gilbert, one of the hosts, is a huge fan. She has mentioned Stevie several times on the show over the past year. So hopefully she will come up with some good questions.
|
I actually was in the audience back in May when I was in LA. I'm sure they'll give away her cd which will be great!
The day I went I got a box of pans from Fabio from Top Chef. I had to ship 'em home! The ladies did seem very genuine. At least Sharon and Sara did. Leah I can take or leave, Julie wasn't there and for the life of me I can't remember the last one on there. |
I actually never heard of "The Talk"....but I'll make sure to find it and DVR it lol
|
Looking forward to this. I think the fact that Stevie & Sharon are casual acquaintances will make this interesting, plus Sharon can be a hoot & hopefully Stevie lets her guard down and shows us how funny she can be.
|
They have advertised this as an EVENT. Stevie is supposed to perform THREE of her classics. Basically, her and Fleetwood Mac's greatest hits will get a sales boost. What about the new album?

Written By Bill Gorman September 7th, 2011 via press release: ROCK ‘N’ ROLL LEGEND STEVIE NICKS TO PERFORM LIVE ON “The Talk,” TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, ON CBS Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks will perform on CBS daytime’s The Talk, singing three of her signature songs on-air in a special live concert, Tuesday September 13 (2:00-3:00 PM, ET; 1:00-2:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network. The announcement was made on-air on The Talk today and comes as a special surprise to host Sara Gilbert who is a longtime fan of Nicks, the Fleetwood Mac rock icon. Upon hearing the news from co-host Sharon Osbourne, Gilbert exclaimed, “Best gift ever! I’m almost speechless…I’m so excited, thank you so much!” A Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Nicks released her first solo album in 10 years in May with “In Your Dreams.” Her extraordinary career as a solo artist, songwriter, live performer and member of Fleetwood Mac is legendary. Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" is one of the biggest selling albums of all time. Nicks penned such Mac classics as "Landslide," "Dreams," "Gold Dust Woman" and "Rhiannon." As a solo artist, beginning with the five-time platinum debut "Bella Donna," her solo hits include "Edge of Seventeen," "Leather and Lace" and "Stand Back." |
Thanks.Wow I better get more blank DVD and VHS tapes.

Landslide
For What Its Worth Rhiannon or Stand Back For What Its Worth Landslide I'm guessing its one of those 2 sequences. |

Sure thing - Stand Back and Landslide, or Landslide and Stand Back...eeh. |
I wish it would be 2 out of the 3 IYD songs and that those 2 weren't both Secret Love and For What Its Worth.
|
It would be cool if she hand Sara for Sara Gilbert's birthday. Having Stevie on is Sharon's birthday gift for Sara.
|
^ That would be very sweet.
So she's doing 3 classics specifically? Did they say that? |
if she's performing songs she did on tour & mixing the songs she does for TV up, this would be cool i guess:
For What It's Worth (cause it's the single) Stand Back Edge of Seventeen ^^Sara would b ideal though. great idea! |

lets see I want to say she will do
For What it's Worth Landslide Standback. or For What It's Worth Dreams Rhiannon |
I'd select Gold Dust Woman, Moonlight or Annabell Lee and Edge of Seventeen!
|
wow.............so i feel weird saying this, but i'm being honest here. I don't want her to perform. i want her to talk! after JB and hearing her go on and on i wanna hear more of what she has to say. i'll take the performances and be happy to see them, but i wish she would just talk more like she does overseas!!!!
yes i'm being picky! so what! |
so excited, we get the talk in the UK but we're a little behind so i'll try and catch it online. I adore Sara Gilbert so it will be sweet to see her with Stevie.
|
The way I see their website posts the whole show.Which is only 38 minutes on some shows with out te adverts.cut out the begining chats. We probably get 30 minute plus of Stevie on the show. But I cant wait to tomorrow to see it.
