I know I'm really going out on a limb but I'm going to predict Moonlight as the winner .

Phoenix 09-07-2011 01:49 PM

Moonlight. For the win! :blob2: just think that anything that can get most of the ledge to agree must be pure magic:laugh: also I gotta say I am impressed that the you may be the 1 army rallied the troops to save it and:lol: boot of secret love

Eh, it's going down this week.

It's funny....looks like people suddenly realized that "In Your Dreams" was still around. lol

Enchanted_Stevi 09-07-2011 02:34 PM

This is getting HAAARD! lol

MacFan92 09-07-2011 03:11 PM

I really don't want In Your Dreams gone! Voted for YMBTO and WSS. Even though I actually like WSS.

You know what else is funny moonlight had consistently 0 votes :lol:until the very end when suddenly it would get 1 vote, well we all know who that was now

Dodfather 09-07-2011 03:24 PM

I can't vote any more. I really can't pick between any of these tracks. I love them all and they are her most consistent group of songs in years.

KarmaContestant 09-07-2011 04:17 PM

Probably wasted votes - Annabel Lee and Wide Sargasso Sea

WildHearted 09-07-2011 04:29 PM

WSS NEEDS to go. NEEDS to.

Christopher 09-07-2011 04:43 PM

Really ♥ all these songs at this stage! *deep sigh* So here goes...

In Your Dreams - super catchy & upbeat song, which is actually a rarity in Stevie's catalog  & Wide Sargasso Sea - probably Stevie's most sexually menacing lyrics eva~Love it! But it could have been shortened a tiny sliver ;) & besides I just couldn't vote off Annabel Lee yet. It's just classic classic >>> Stevie + Poe = Magic. Not to mention the ambiguous & unwavering Stevie as the androgynous protagonist.

mitzo 09-07-2011 05:53 PM

The best have already been voted off, sadly.

opinions are opinions, i suppose

In Your Dreams and Wide Sargasso Sea.

IYD is a great song, but, if I compare it to Stevie's other title tracks, I find it... lacking. As for WSS, it's the weakest song left, imo.. although, saying that, I've found myself listening to it loads lately and enjoying it far more than I used to.

GoldDustWoman22 09-07-2011 06:27 PM

I really don't wanna do this. I don't know what I keep coming back to this thread...I guess "it's like Narnia". But I'm gonna have to go with "IYD" and "WSS". Even though I totally love those songs...but if I had to choose any those are the ones I would choose.

I did. I just voted for one last time and I was reading the other thread and someone said they were surprised it was still around and I said to myself, "What:eek:. That insipid song is still in the running when people are trying to ditch YMBTO. How can that be?" See, IYD is so uninteresting that you don't even realize it's there, which is not a bad thing. It means it doesn't stink either.

Michele

Again, I vote for YMBTO and IYD. The others are my favorites and the only one out of those I could possibly vote for is FWIW.

ontheEdgeof17 09-07-2011 09:11 PM

I'll give everyone a kiss and a little over the sweater action if YMBTO stays.

Words I've been waiting to hear you say since I first joined the ledge!:blob2:

Yeahhhhhhhhh!!

I missed the last round, wasting time in my normal life instead of here on the Ledge, but am glad to see 'Italian Summer' has bitten the big one.

Very tough from this point on, but gonna go for IYD and WSS. Love 'em both, but there's more in the others, for me.

jellyman10 09-08-2011 02:17 AM

Also, add me to the list of people who can't understand why YMBTO isn't more beloved?? That song has maybe my favourite moment on the album: Lori and Sharon's harmonies on 'like some seabirds'....... ahh, chills :blob1:

because its the ledge. YMBO is a classic, solid winner. Stevie didn't mention it enough, that's why. It doesn't have the story, like the others

:laugh: Blimey, to me the entire song is the story. It's got some of the least oblique writing about her and LB that she's ever done. But maybe you're right. :)

WildHearted 09-08-2011 09:31 AM

For the live of all things, someone vote for WSS and save YMBTO's Poor soul.

markolas 09-08-2011 09:59 AM

I will be very upset if WSS is voted off, but YMTO stays.

WildHeart69 09-08-2011 10:05 AM

Annabelle Lee and In Your Dreams

You must mean "My Heart" and "Cheaper Than Free".

This album very quickly got into "it's hard to pick one" category because it's so good. People are booting songs not because they think the songs are bad but rather to save a song they really love. I feel for those of you who love YMBTO intensely. I don't feel that way, but I can understand why you do.
