yes! i knew she would do press when she was in NY! great for her. unfortunately i'll b in Vegas for Rod's show but i'll b watching...pack Rumsey and rock it Ledgies!!!

I fly into NYC like 3 days later.... Ugh.

i'm guessing she'll leave for Bethel right after this. Although since she said she wants to promote IYD as much as she can, maybe she'll hit Letterman or Fallon if they tape their show on Fridays.

WoW. Go Stevie go!! She is really promoting the F**k out of this record! My hats off to her! God bless her, she really believes in this record (as she should)!! I really have a new found respect for her work ethic esp. at her age. No one can call this woman lazy. Stevie's a force and it'll be hard for the Grammy academy to not acknowledge this record, and if nothing else perhaps a lifetime achievement award.

Wow Thanks I forgot about ABC,The today show does concert on fridays too.I guess she will hang in NYC for alittle time .Saturday is is the Bethel show.Hum I wonder she will do any signings.You bet your bippie I will be there.

aHHHH...how do i get out of work!?!? i'm already off the following week.....well, are these things usually over by 9-10am? Maybe i can swing it and go to work after.

I'm hoping to get off of work so I"d love to meet up with you guys if i can swing it. According to the website te park opens at 6am. Looks like it might be an all-nighter in NYC for me.

Has anyone ever been to a GMA show? What is is like there? I assume standing up near some sort of stage set-up. I probably should have taped today to see what to expect next week.

Yes. They spend an hour going back and forth with the artist.....small interviews....a few songs...while cutting back to the news.

i think GaGa did 5 but that was such a big event.

More likely after 8am for her to come on.Am I right.On the Today show .I think the artist sings around after 8.30 then come back in the 9am hour or during the 10am with our two friends.Hahaha,I should of monitor this morning GMA too.Also we got to worry about major breaking news stories that could wipe out her time on the show too.I hope its a slow news day.

I read people had to pay to get into her show.Ok do we have to get tickets for this.They said the shows are free.

Some shows are ticketed, but still remain free. Depending on the hype around the artist is whether or not they do tickets. I don't see any mention of yet of having to obtain tickets for Stevie. I doubt that we will.

Haven't you learned anything from Jamie? Here's the plan. On August 25th you will arrive at work sans makeup and you will tell people all day here and there that you are not feeling well. Then the next day on your way to the event you will call in sick and then you will be free to have the time of your life. :blob2:

Appts lately. Then I requested off for Mt fashion show! I don't wanna push it. I could start feeling bad 2 days prior. We shall see........
