Funny things you could say to Stevie

So, some time ago a friend of a friend of a friend gave me a pair of shoes that she swears belonged to Stevie. And my friend reminded me of this on Facebook when I was lamenting not being able to go. And he posted "If you go... GIVE HER BACK HER SHOES!!!"

That led us into a discussion about the funniest things one could say when meeting Stevie Nicks. Of course meeting her would be such a dream I wouldn't waste it on something this silly but it's fun to think about it. In a fantasy world, what would the funniest thing be that you could say upon meeting Stevie.

Mine would be... "Okay, you gotta tell me. Did you go to the party as a hot dog, or a box of Kleenex?"

Oh gosh, there are so many things.

Macfanforever 08-07-2011 04:18 PM

I love to say anything to make her laugh.

"I know you're used to being on the receiving end but would you mind blowing some coke up my arse?" :sorry:

When I'm especially nervous, I have the uncomfortable problem of asking/saying wierd things in a vain attempt at humour. I can't help it. It's like Tourette's to me. So I'd probably ask something along the lines of: "I'm not wierd, but can I lick your nose?". And then I would crawl off to find a hole in which to die....

It was back in 98 when she and Sheryl Crow were on Leno. He asked her something about using "paper or plastic" and she didn't know what he was talking about.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!

You are correct. She thought he was asking if she paid with money or a credit card.

I remember this interview, it was hilarious. Jay asked Stevie and Sheryl a series of funny questions and asked "Paper or Plastic", ofcourse Sheryl said "Paper".........At this point Stevie gives her this odd look and then totally called her out....(Like, you know you don't go to the grocery store girl....) Stevie then says she sends people. It was funny. This is also the interview where she talks about using cash instead of credit cards....

Word. I want to strangle whoever put that phrase in her head. Get. Over. It. Roll with punches, Stevie. It's a new age and it's not going away, so it's best to understand it and take some sort of control.
