Rock ‘n Roll’s reigning queen Stevie Nicks pays a special visit to Amoeba Music to meet and sign for her fans. Signing is limited to the first 200 people to purchase her new CD In Your Dreams or selected catalog titles (see below) on August 3rd.
With CD purchase fans also receive a limited-edition lithograph created for In Your Dreams.

- Line to get wristbands forms on Ivar Street – first 200 people in line will have opportunity to purchase In Your Dreams, Belladonna or Crystal Visions and receive ONE ticket/admission to the signing line.
- First come, first served, no holds, online or phone orders will be accepted for this special event.
- All sales final.
- NO photography allowed.
- No overnight camping allowed (per city codes)
ONE ITEM PER PERSON – can be new CD, catalog, litho or an outside item, but it’s limited to one per person.

Stomach virus always worked for me when I was in school :laugh: they can come up very unexpected so it's totally believable. :cool:

Speaking of which I'm going to ask Stevie what's up with no west coast tour dates in addition to gushing over The Wiltern show.

I would love to get my tee shirt signed.I had Emmylou Harris signed one.

If there is a God, she will do a signing in San Francisco. OR in NYC when I'm there.

I'd give up all of my scheduled shows to meet her. I just gotta keep telling myself its not my time.

Thanks for the illness suggestions. I think I'm gonna do it. This is one of my dreams and I can't just let it slip away.

People who were at the NY Barnes and Noble signing- any suggestions on what time to line up for something like this in order to be one of the first 200? Is 9:00 early enough? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I'm right with you. Why couldn't this have been a Friday?! WHYYYYYY?!

A pipe on your central air got disconnected somehow (the condensate pipe, but you don't know that yet, you will when later on) and you woke up to water all over your ceiling and floor. You have to stay and clean up the mess and wait to let the HVAC guy in.

I called the record store. They open at 1030am and that's when they'll start selling the cds and giving out the 200 wristbands. So I would think I need to be there before 9am. The girl on the phone suggested 7, but I think that's kinda late. If I do this, I would be there probably around 5am . I would hafta leave my place around 230am and then call in sick when I get there, lol.

The wristband idea is cool, because it means you're guaranteed a spot without having to wait around the store all day.

I don't think it'll be nearly as bad as the Wiltern... and there was no more than 20 people in line until 10am or so. Plus there's less notice this time around so fewer people will fly in.

We're trying to think of ways we can get there from Vancouver in the middle of a work week but I don't think it will happen :distress:

Please all of you bombard her with requests to bring the tour west!!! Do it for me :blob2:

Thanks.. but I have a plan. Feign starting to feel really ill Tuesday at work, then call in the next day when I get to LA.

After going back and forth on this all afternoon, and especially after reading about 18 pages or so of the NY Barnes and Noble DVD signing thread, I'm going. You ledgies that were at the NY signing wrote over and over how special and worth it it was. And that was for 500-800 people! This is only 200 ( Probably because she remembers how tired she may have gotten doing 500-800.)

To top it off, when I came home today i was
tidying up the kitchen from this morning, I noticed we used Stevie coffee cups today- IT'S A SIGN!! Right??

You live in San Diego...DO IT. I live in Vancouver Canada and I am thinking about it, lol.

I live in L.A. so I hope it works out :) If none of my friends can go, I'll be there alone....we'll have to possibly hold spots for each other so we can pee LOL ;)

That's cool. I will be coming alone also. My partner loves Stevie too, but not enough to drive out to LA at 2am for. Holding spots for bathroom breaks sounds like a plan.

I'm not on facebook, but my girlfriend is. Today I had her block anyone she's friends with from my work from seeing any kind of new postings. Don't want anyone from work seeing any posts regarding this event and putting two and two together!

Gotta think stuff like this through and cover all your bases. :)

yes Have a blast at her cd signings in Hollywood awesome would be cool too if she does a boston signing and NY signing too could happen too.Pray for it to happen for all I was at her first signing a little over 2yrs ago in NYC B&N in Union Square it was the best she was amazing you will have an amazing time and have a special moment in time with her you will cherish for the rest of your life. Have a blast to the lucky 200 people who will get in.:thumbsup:
