Who is the makeup lady in the "Wild Heart" RS photoshoot? There seems to be some disagreement among us fans.

I think it's Liza Jane Edwards.

Robin died between Mirage and the Wild Heart. The video was taken between Bella Donna and Mirage. Stevie actually sings a line from Love in Store at the beginning of the video although the lyrics are a bit different. Can anyone understands what she says?

I always thought she was singing "I can't fight it... anymore... with you around I believe our love is sure... never take your love away".

When the music starts I always used to think it was Lindsey off camera trying to play over her singing. I had built up in my head this little drama that he did this and so she started singing her lyrics over his song just to piss him off. It sounds like she says after the song starts "this is what I was telling you about... it kills me" talking about his audacity. But knowing what we know now it must just be that she was saying how this was the one she was writing lyrics to.

I used to not think it was Robin. Having only seen her in the Rumours backstage videos. But she could've lost her perm by then and when there is a brief glance at her face I can see some resemblance. I could very well be wrong but I think it's her :shrug:

Did anyone else ever notice the phone ringing in the background?

She's singing the lyrics to Christine's song, Love In Store, which is playing just before Lindsey's instrumental track.

That phone is one of my favorite parts...it rings at a perfect pause in the music, and the ring is perfectly in tune with the rest of the song. And then Stevie gets this cute little look on her face when she hears how it fits :-)

Yeah, but some of the words are different. Like when you hear a song and you don't know all the words so you make some of them up.

if Robin died between WH and M , how could Gypsy be about Robin? i thought Robin died after BellaDonna... tour with the record then tour with Mirage, then married Kim prior to WH i dunno... i'm very puzzled by this timeline. didn't she say she was sorry Robin wasn't around to see the success of BD?

Stevie apparently found out Robin had leukemia on the day that Bella Donna hit #1.

Gypsy isn't about Robin, at least not innately. It was written before she even got sick. However, that's not to say that Robin's illness and eventual death didn't lend another meaning to the song for Stevie.

Yes. Also, didn't Stevie add some lyrics after Robin got sick? I think that's when "bright eyes" came in...

There was a make person given credit on quite a few Mac. tours named Barbara. That might be the person.

Also, who ever set up the poll Rebecca Alvarez was Stevie Personal assitant and not a makeup artist.

Robin passed away in October of 82, for those trying to figure out a timeline.

Stevie gave a rather lengthy explanation of Gypsy every night on the Unleashed tour. It wasn't about Robin. The song was a single when Robin was still alive and they were doing it on the Mirage tour. I think Stevie probably associated it with Robin because it was the current song when she died and also related the lines about "she is dancing away" and "bright eyes" to Robin at that time, but Robin was never the subject directly or indirectly.

I think that's a phone ringing, if we're talking about the same thing.

Around the same time as the phone rings the fire "smoke detector" chirps like when the batteries are low.

I think it's Liza Jane Edwards also, though there are a lot of pics of Christie doing Stevie's make-up backstage and at photoshoots, this does not look like Christie Alsbury. Barbera Buck started working with Stevie since RAL or TITN.
