any luck with red rocks tix?

all crap! anyone!

STEVEHEDRICK 06-20-2011 11:18 AM

just got 3rd row center at 15 after! woohoo single seats in row 3/4/5 now!

KarmaContestant 06-20-2011 11:38 AM

I pulled up row 2, seats 85/86. I decided I didn't want these, but managed after several failed attempts to get row 3, slightly right of center in seats 34/35.

I'm wondering if I should have taken the row 2 seats because I'd have a better chance of making it up for the edge walk...but I would not like being far left or far right of the stage for the rest of the show.

Good luck everyone!

mezzoforte 06-20-2011 11:51 AM

Row 3, seat 22.

Mac Attack 06-20-2011 11:54 AM

I got row 2, 73/74 after about 15 minutes and after I bought 2 tickets in row 5. Now I need to sell the row 5 tickets If anyone here is interested, send me a PM.
Ticketmaster drives me crazy.

Christopher 06-20-2011 12:08 PM

Row 2 - slightly off center :) It took @30-45 min before will call tickets became available in rows 2-5!! I swear Ticketmonster is rigged. I also picked up 2 tickets in Row 14 -center, because I panicked after not finding any better seats after 25 minutes! This is a lesson in persistence and never buying the 1st crappy seats TM throw at you.

ontheEdgeof17 06-20-2011 12:23 PM

3rd Row Center.

Crystal_Elle 06-20-2011 01:22 PM

Best I got was row 2 seat 29. Of course, now I'm "forbidden" from ticketmaster. Literally, the website says that. (Cue the FWIW references) ;) Ah, I guess it wasn't meant to be.

I'm still "forbidden". I rebooted & cleared my cache/history etc.TM must lock people from their server after a certain amount of attempts or timeframe:shrug:. Luckily I already bought my tickets. But I still kept trying to pull up seats for up to an hour until they locked my a$$ out. I swear it's always something of a learning experience buying concert tickets nowadays.

Yep, still locked out hours later. It locked me out after maybe 25 minutes of me trying to get tickets. You'd think they would want my money.

RockAlot 06-20-2011 01:48 PM

Pulled row 4 seat 11.....still up in the air weather im going to this show....would of been a for sure thing if i pulled 1st row center....but that didnt happen!

I had same experience last week, so I called them.... You will be banned for 48 hours, and there is nothing anyone even within TM can do to fix this, it's just that too many requests in too short a time period raises the red flag and their computer marks you as an automated program. You can still call and buy tickets that way , but in exactly 48 hours you will be up and running again !

Thanks for the info . I suppose I can see how many attempts potentially raises a red flag - but on the other hand it seems TM tries to unload their worst seats first & I was only phishing for 2 tickets. I kept pulling up rows 35-25 during the initial 10-15 minutes of sale. Like I said earlier, I finally bought 2 tickets - row 14 - center, after almost 1/2 hour, then 15 minutes later pulled 2 seats in the 2nd row:). There's just no rhyme or reason.

camchristo 06-20-2011 02:15 PM

Second row center. I pulled them up on my first try right at sale time.

HejiraNYC 06-20-2011 02:28 PM

^^Yep. My a$$ is locked out too. It even stopped taking my credit card information after a while. I finally ended up creating a new account with a new email address and using my debit card. Nuts. I will check at home to see if they are blocking IP addresses or if they are blocking specific user accounts. Good thing nothing else goes on sale until Friday.

STEVEHEDRICK 06-20-2011 02:35 PM

if you refresh too much it will kick you out! sucks!

Row 3 is going to be the place to be.

gypsyrhiannon 06-20-2011 03:17 PM

I am also forbidden as a result of trying to buy Red Rocks tickets today, and apparently it's by IP address because the whole floor here at work is forbidden now as well.
People are NOT happy with me :]

1sttimelongtime 06-20-2011 03:22 PM

I got locked out and I turned off my wifi and piggybacked on a neighbors signal and continued shopping. I turned my modem back on after an hour and I was good to go on my own signal. Damned nuisance.

I just switched my work schedule so I am able to attend now! :blob1: I bought a fourth row ticket.

I will be in row 3!

daniellaaarisen 06-20-2011 09:28 PM

I'm row 5, center.... I hope I'm still one of the cool kids of the 3rd row despite this ;)

LittleSpacey 06-20-2011 09:32 PM

Im row 5, seats 25 and 26. Woohoo! I saw STP from the same seats. Super excited!

Mac Attack 06-22-2011 01:32 PM

How about a big Ledgie meet up at my place? We could do a big cook out, have a camp fire (if the fire ban is lifted), hot tub, & party our arses off. You would need a car or a ride to get up here though. We are about 30 minutes in the mountains southwest of Red Rocks.

Wellll, maybe I should get the wifey's stamp of approval first?

That's my favorite spot for a Stevie show- anything in the center, rows 3-5, or even 6. Its an awesome spot - you should get a lot of interaction with Stevie. :)

TM will cancel the order you don't want if you have an account and bought other tickets the same day that are the same or better. Send them an email.
The TM site sux but their customer service is actually pretty good.

Thanks. Yesterday I called TM and they were willing to refund my 14th row tickets. I guess TM is not all evil:shocked:. Anyway the rep said it depended on the show & promoter, but Stevie's show was not a prob. I ended up keeping my 14th row (dead center) tickets and gave them to some friends as a gift since they could not afford to go. So it all worked out, just sucks that we can't sit near each other. But I'm sure I'll get over that once I'm in my 2nd row seats;)

I'm not sure. I was thinking Monday afternoon. It would depend on when you guys would be in town and my wife. She's a little leery so far. I told her you guys were harmless, probably. I think she watches too much CSI and Criminal minds.

I've met many Fleetwood Mac fans and none have been scary... yet ;)

I think Monday is a great idea! I'm planning on flying in on Monday morning so that'd be great.

We'll just have to make up for it at Jones Beach with our chiffoned-out tailgate, right?:woohoo:
