How many shows r u going to and where?

how many shows are you guys going to and where? very curious if people are traveling and willing to spend the cash?

I am hitting 2 shows
red rocks, my 3rd time seeing her there!
and prior, mn! thats my vacation this year!

StandbackStevie 06-18-2011 05:10 PM

one or two
Hoping a CT show will pop up if no ct show probably will hit one and go to Jones Beach Show but if a ct show pops up might go to both depending on cash flow.

Neal 06-18-2011 09:39 PM

I haven't seen any California shows announced, but the location(s) and prices will determine how many shows I hit.

Obviously at least 1... ;)

GoldDustOrphan 06-18-2011 10:24 PM

I went to the Boston show with Rod and I have my tickets for the show in August. The pavilion is a 12 minute walk from my house. I bought two tickets on StubHub, but I will actually try when they go onsale to the general public since they didn't release first 15 rows in sections 1 & 3 during the presale (just center section 2).

rockalilcutie25 06-18-2011 11:15 PM

Well, I live n ohio and i finally have some cash n my pocket.....im doing both ohio shows Toledo and Cincy....just trying to round together some people.....would love to meet ledgies there! I havnt seen stevie solo since 2001 in columbus sep 17th...6 days after 9-11 i was so scared.....but when stevie hugged the american flag teddy bear (someone threw it to her on stage) everything was better...and she was awesome that night, many lighters n the air....anybody else email lets do the shows together...

I'm definitely doing Red Rocks, but from there I'm not so sure. I'm going to really try to swing Jones Beach and I MIGHT attempt Chicago if no California dates are released.

I never should've started this "fly around the country to see Stevie" thing because now I'm addicted

1sttimelongtime 06-19-2011 03:53 AM

I'm going to see as many shows as I can without taking any days off of work. So, red rocks, chicago, saratoga, boston and anything in the NYC area. Unless I come to my senses.

darklinensuit 06-19-2011 04:48 AM

If I go to any it will be Dallas or Houston, or maybe Austin if she adds that. Doubt I'll have time or $ for more than one this time around.

We are hoping to hit Indy (hometown show!), Toledo, and Cincy... and cash permitting, Chicago. Was part of the New York City odyssey... but wouldn't have traded that trip for anything! Fell in love with NYC even without Stevie!

Hoping to meet up with a few of you on the road!

WildHearted 06-19-2011 09:13 AM

Going to Atlanta, hopefully. Buying tickets now.

GavinBrown 06-19-2011 10:24 AM

I will probably see 2 shows...My uncle surprised me for my birthday thursday with 2 tix for Jones Beach 10th row center (he got them cause hes an amex black card holder and his concierge hooked it up). I will decide last minute whether I do Boston, Holmdel, or Bethel (unless she adds AC):blob1:

dark stevie 06-19-2011 11:48 AM

only 1 so far....afraid to drop big $$$ 4 tix 2 hear "same songs different year" ... i got generic amex presale tix 4 chicago...(sorry 2 say it...but i'm tired of going broke & burning vacation time 2 hear "dreams, landslide, etc")....so it all depends on the set list....

UnwindedDreams 06-19-2011 12:31 PM

i am going to the bristow, VA jiffy lube live show. i spent 207 on a second row center ticket which is a lot for Stevie. I think this is the highest she's asked face value besides the 2008 show at hard rock live in biloxi because it is such a small venue.

ontheEdgeof17 06-19-2011 12:43 PM

Red Rocks...and the rest is TBA

SapphireSister 06-19-2011 12:48 PM

Can't even take a guess until Cali shows are announced if they even will be...

LittleSpacey 06-19-2011 08:00 PM

Today my boss approved my august vacation so.......I will be seeing her at Red Rocks, then flying back and seeing her at the Woodlands. It will be "Stevie" week!

Amlyn 06-19-2011 08:12 PM

PNC (NJ) and Jones Beach.

Should I win the lottery in the next month, I'll be with you all at Red Rocks.

daniellaaarisen 06-19-2011 08:29 PM

Oh God, I just saw that the Virginia show is the same weekend as Jones Beach... and I have that next week off of work..... so, so tempting.

My dad is going to kill me. It's my money this time, though!

jkmaletic 06-19-2011 08:51 PM

I'm probably going to no shows. :(

I checked some flights and hotel packages from here to Boston, cuz I was considering that show cuz it's during our vacation, but it's still like $470 per person for two nights stay. That's a good price I guess, but that of course doesn't include the concert tickets. So I'd be looking at $1000 plus to do this.

Before I get all bummed out let me count my blessings again..

1. Getting to go to Sunset Sessions in February.

2. Got to see Stevie in Vegas on May 14- 3rd row.

3. Got to go to the freakin' WILTERN SHOW!! ( I'll never forget that)

Ok.... I feel a little better now. Thanks for listening.

Jamie

Macfanforever 06-19-2011 10:31 PM

I'm up to 5 now.I'm not going to break my record of 8.

You were in the 3rd row in Vegas too? Where? We were in the middle-ish part on the aisle (right across from Carlos Rios).

Josh2003 06-20-2011 11:56 AM

Likely just Toledo for me. I could certainly do Cincinnati too, but financially it would just be silly.

mezzoforte 06-20-2011 12:03 PM

Definitely Red Rocks and Jones beach, probably PNC NJ, maybe one or two others.

louielouie2000 06-20-2011 09:58 PM

I just got a job offer today, so I might just have to treat myself to a Stevie show :). Probably Dallas if I can get over my very serious grievance with her Texas prices. Houston is my backup option. It'd be great to see some Ledgies at a show too... I've never met any of you in person!

Thanks... I'm SO excited. I even landed another gov't job! :D

Red Rocks would be a dream come true. I even pulled up a 5th row ticket just now. However, I'm not going to start off my new job on the wrong foot by asking for time off to go to a rock concert. :)

mottabam 06-20-2011 11:58 PM

SInce it is unlikely she will come to Florida I'll probably fly up to Atlanta. Prices are decent Fort Myers to Atlanta. The Amplitheatre has "packages" to buy tickets to certain series of concerts. Might fly in Sunday and see Inxs and then Stevie the following night.

I bought a ticket for INXS so I could buy Stevie tickets the other day, but I don't actually plan on seeing them, I was just going to give it to someone.

How can INXS seriously be performing without Michael? I saw Journey without Steve Perry and it was a huge mistake. Same with Alice in Chains. I suppose if you just want to go to hear some good music but might as well be a cover band. The only band who's ever really succeeded at this was Van Halen with David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar.

Yes but I was referring to bands that had huge commercial success with the first singer. I wouldn't say FM were a huge commercial success in the U.S. before Lindsey and Stevie...
