Dave already tweeted that he was not asked to be on the tour.

r u kidding?

Well, I'm sure it's not that simple. Dave may not have the support or deep pockets to put together a band to be Stevie's supporting act on the road. Remember that Dave recorded his upcoming album "The Blackbird Diaries" in 2 weeks with Nashville session players, and is putting the record out himself on his own small independent label. And Stevie does not need another guitarist, she has Waddy AND Carlos. And besides, Dave also has his own projects. So I'm sure we do not know the whole story and it wouldn't be the 1st time that Dave hasn't exactly seen eye to eye with Stevie's management or label:shrug: But for the record, I will be a bit disappointed If we don't get Dave on tour with Stevie and Australia does! Perhaps the few Aussie dates are the only ones he had his calendar clear for. Who knows what the real story is.

Great, if Dave's not there, I hope that doesn't mean she's going to cut back on the songs from IYD that she performs....

Like everyone else, I'm dying to see some new songs, and was thrilled to see so many in the videos from the Wiltern.

Someome on twitter asked if he was going to be at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in NY and he replied I was not asked. Now he says he knows nothing about the tour...who knows at this point!

I hope nobody is opening for her. More Stevie for us!

Macfanforever 06-17-2011 10:22 PM

She probably could call in Vannessa. But I agree with more Stevie too.

What was the name of the guy that toured with Stevie several years ago- had kind of an old school style and was VERY good. He was awesome!

I saw Boz open for her in Portland (I think) for the Enchanted tour. It was great!
