Greetings elle,
Tickets for members of the Ridgefield Playhouse went on sale this morning. I joined so I could get the best seat possible and I see shows here frequently. Public on sale is this Thursday. Best of luck!

i'm definitely going to ridgefield show now - got 8th row center today, and i'm happy with that considering i just got around to it now.

Got tixs today for Ridgefield. I like that it's a Sat night!

Might try to go to Morristown too. I'd love to make it to Town Hall with my NYC friends but I have a work committment that night that i won't know if i can skip out of until the last minute.

yes saturday night is one of the main reasons i decided to go to that one - don't need to think about taking days off! although i'll try for westhampton tomorrow and that's friday but oh well - still much better than the middle of the week.

Ridgefield is a good hour from me, but Morristown isn't much less and funny enough even though i live 2 miles across the river from NYC it can take me 45 mins to drive there.

It will be worth it!! Did you get good seats?

i'm in DC area, so the only show that's really in my area is Baltimore. the second closest is Keswick but 2.5+ hrs or so drive in each direction on a weekday doesn't sound very attractive.

so Ridgefield is far enough from me but since it's a weekend i can take my time, make it a pleasant little trip, and pick through my options how to get there. and never been to hamptons so figure why not use the opportunity and maybe try whampton show too?

I've only ever made it out to the Hamptos myself the past few years. I usually go one day during the summer. Never made it to WHampton though.

I went for 2nd row on the side. Hopefully the venue is small enough that the side isn't somewhere out in the next town.

We should try to meet up!

from what i've seen (also i think shackin'up saw LB there in 2008), it seems to be a nice small venue, so it should all be close and cozy. according to their website, they'll be renovating it in august, but don't think the size of the venue itself will change.

it would be nice to meet up!

Hello to elle and to Amlyn, I live in CT and I've been to this theater a number of times. The acoustics are amazing and shows are intimate and cozy. The size of the venue isn't changing. The renovation is for new seats in August.

These ticket prices/fees are insane. I just looked at my stub from Lindsey in Boston in 2006 and tickets were $35 - like $42 bucks with fees. I checked prices for upcoming tour and cheapest tickets are like over $60 with fees. Am I right?

On that note, I will prolly not be going to see LB unless I can unearth some rare bootlegs and trade them and/or my soul.

Can't wait for the new album!

you guys are so lucky with such cheap prices !!! small venues in australia are minimum of $60 (and thats an aussie local band) any internationals are at least $100 and most big acts are anywhere between 120 to 280
