I'm not shocked, Im elated! Landslide was overplayed; it needed a rest. The set list doesn't suffer for it -- it allows for a breath of fresh air.

I hope so anyway. Especially since he's playing with Mike. I hope as each new player comes to the stage that they just stay there and jam along with all the rest of the players.

I really want to see Lindsey play on Love Is.:p

Well after looking this Peter Stroud guy up I suppose that's him, he looks like Tom from the back. Darnit!

I thought it was but after looking up Peter Stroud I can see why. He is tall and thin like Tom.

It needs to go on a PERMANENT VACATION! Glad to see it go!

But EIGHT new songs from IYD! That's very un-Stevielike!

One the second to last night of the WWD tour, Stevie performed every song from Bella Donna except Kind Of Woman and The Highwayman, along with Gold and Braid and Blue Lamp.

It's either un-Stevie, or Stevie-original-recipe.

CADreaming 05-26-2011 09:22 PM

They just recorded the audience singing Happy Bday to Stevie...

On the Bella Donna Tour she played 8 new songs too. I pray to God she sticks with this setlist for the rest of 2011!!!!!

Rumour0323 05-26-2011 09:23 PM

I hope and pray that she has the time of her life tonight, and realizes she needs to change it all up.

Stevie and the boys rockin the house..wooo hooo so proud of her. :blob1:

The difference there is that Stevie didn't have a wealth of songs from her solo career back when she did the WWD tour. There were her Fleetwood Mac songs and her Bella Donna songs and a couple of soundtracks she could draw from. She HAD to put out what would nowadays be considered a bold set.

Now that she has six studio records on her own and a boatload of material with Fleetwood Mac, even songs she didn't have back then, she has played it much safer. Even her TISL tour didn't have EIGHT new songs. That was the anomaly until tonight.

I just quickly spoke to sapphire sister on the phone. I could hear all the intensely happy people in the background and Lindsay sounded super excited herself.:blob1:

Fumidesigns, Truefaith and I are sitting here reading the setlist line by line and three of us are contemplating whether we should jump from the Brooklyn Bridge or the Manhattan Bridge.

At that early point in time her solo career, aside from her Fleetwood Mac songs, her Bella Donna songs were the entire extent of her solo catalog! "I Need to Know" was her first cover song.
