Help choose single #2: www.pickyoursingle.com

A website devoted to picking singles.

They are polling for single #2. In Your Dreams and Moonlight are 50/50. The other songs are options, but no one has selected them.

Do WB & Stevie get this info/input?

I voted for "Moonlight"!

BombaySapphire3 05-26-2011 02:42 PM

I voted for IYD even though it is not even in my top 5 faves on the album.Moonlight is awesome but would need a major remix or something to work as a single IMO.

I voted for "For What It's Worth". Decided to cast my vote as a contrarian - though I still believe it to be a deserving single or the very least a concert staple.

... Thus forcing the release of single remixes and dance remixes, which Rick/GDO has said Tracy has already done! :)

KarmaContestant 05-26-2011 02:52 PM

Voted; For What It's Worth.

WildHearted 05-26-2011 03:22 PM

I voted for FWIW. I honestly think it has the best shot.

Exactly moonlight would be perfect.

For What It's Worth. Although, I'd love to see some remixes of New Orleans; best chorus on the album!

I voted for IYD because I think it will get radio play on both the pop/rock stations and the country stations I think Stevie should head torwards country and she still can play her rock songs as well you listen to Stevie she has country in her blood pretty much all of her solo albums have country songs on them pretty much. Wondering if the record label has sent out singles or copy's of the new cd to radio stations and hopefully get more air play if not she should do more tv appearances and shows the jay leno show, david letterman, conan obrien show,Chelsea Handler Show ect. Mama is hot on her new cd and needs to get more exposure hopefully we will get a summer/fall tour.

HighPassion 05-26-2011 05:57 PM

Does anyone know how legit this source is? Maybe they're picked for radio only/promo singles. Cause don't artists and the label make these kind of decisions...?
The music business isn't THAT far gone?

But I voted For What It's Worth :)

I really don't want Moonlight to be a single. It'll get "Twilight" slapped on it and then the song will just be gone.

Yeah, I don't know how well this works. I know a lot of fans wanted Avril Lavigne's "Wish You Were Here" to be the second single of her newest album, and I just looked it up on that site - and it got the most votes. Yet a different song was decided for the second single... Sooooooo. who knows. It's still fun to vote in polls though to see who likes what :)

Exactly. Combine that with the clanky piano intro & whispery spoken fairy tale vocal intro and it'd just be lampooned so hard by those who are critical of Stevie. Secret Love was a pretty airy fairy song for her first single... if there is to be another single, it probably needs to be much more literal.

Yeah! Stevie said it's her favourite video from the album. "Moonlight" has the best chance for more exposure** for In Your Dreams, especially with the vampire/Twilight connection!!!!

"STRANGE..."

** Exposure is what singles are for.

jcalzaretta 05-26-2011 07:46 PM

Why not release both Moonlight and In Your Dreams. I think IYD has a better chance of radio play. Moonlight would do better with video and I think live with the video behind her. Damn that is one amazing song.

I agree. Send the Moonlight track (and video?) to top 40 stations, and Hot AC, and send In Your Dreams track to AC, AAA and Country outlets. Or hell, send both to both who cares at this point...... just send something before the CD totally loses steam and dies. !!!

I voted for "Moonlight". I think "In Your Dreams" would make an excellent single but one thing I've been noticing among all the people I've bought or played In Your Dreams for is that no one picks "In Your Dreams" as a standout track. "Moonlight" however gets tapped pretty regularly.

Crystal_Elle 05-30-2011 11:49 PM

FWIW and also release it to Country radio!!!! Oh and hire me to promote it :) I have experience!!
