Favorite Rhiannon Live Introduction AND a SPECIAL Little Video Treat! :)

Hey all:

I thought it would be great, because I don't feel we've discussed this in awhile. We are all familiar with the ever changing piano/instrumental introduction to the classic Rhiannon.

First and foremost, though, I have a bit of a treat for you all. :) Who says you can't have dessert before dinner? ;)

This is something I just did. Not originally what I had intended on recording today, but happened upon this yesterday at the piano and thought you all would enjoy!!! :blob2:

NOW, for my favorite Rhiannon. In terms of video online, it's this

I think it's the guitars that do it for me!

Another version I really like is what Cornell Thigpen did back during what- Gold Dust, or something? Very nice!

Dallas 1983.

Houston 1986 ~ "She gets up!"

Dallas 1998.

Both were GORGEOUS! <3

Thank you for the compliment! :) Glad you liked it!

Incredible! I really like the different arrangement.

MusicMan, that was really nice, both Rhiannon and Moonlight. I started singing to Moonlight as you were playing :). That was great, thank you for sharing.

MusicMan that was incredible! Really fit well into the song :)! I also love that video version of Rhiannon...rocks :blob1:!

"Sneak Preek"
LOL

Ethan, that was really quite nice! I have family staying with me and my Mum walked into the room wondering what that beautiful music was. She thought you were amazing.

Cheers.

Very impressive Ethan!!! The room you are playing in is beautiful and as you were playing I enjoyed watching the reflection on the piano of the leaves rustling in the trees outside your window.

Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you all so much!!! It means a lot, to hear music received well. :) Maybe Stevie's people will see this and I'll get that call to play The Wiltern/this summer!

Thank you! It's our formal living room, that doesn't see a whole lot of action- that furniture was the first set my mom back MANY years ago before she was married!

Came across this one today- kind of liked the syncopation:

And thanks again for those who took the time to check mine out too! :)

Can't deny the power of those early Rhiannons! :)

That was FABULOUS Ethan, you really do live up to the name Musicman!:thumbsup
Stevie would be proud! Can you do the next part? The da, da, da, da, dada, da, dada, da
da, dada, etcetera, etcetera part, before she starts to sing! I'm sure you can!
