Would you want to be Stevie Nicks?
 

After hearing the many "My name is Stevie Nicks" in the doc preview, I wondered how many of you would actually want to be Stevie Nicks!

Yes...only so that I could say that *I* single-handedly brought back the Victorian gown.

Nope, because then who would I admire? Now, I'd like to meet her and know her though!! :)

Nah. For one, it would be way too weird to suddenly have boobs and be about a foot shorter. And for two, I like Stevie because there's still so much we don't know about her, so it's easy to imagine her having lived a fabulous life. Being her would be rather boring.

NO- I would never want to be any kind of celebrity. The stress of always trying to get new gigs/jobs, the lack of privacy. I hate my picture taken too. I'd probably be like Sean Penn, punching photographers. :lol:

well i know a few people on FB that "think" they are Stevie Nicks already....which totally weirds me out....but nobody has bothered to tell them they arent!! so whatever *shrugs*

I know that sometimes I admire someone so much I wonder what It would be like to actually be them. But for Steve, I'm gonna have to say no.

Even though that is a lot of happiness in her life there is also a great deal of sadness. I couldn't imagine being her during her druggie years.

I do agree with Bee on being her during her years with Lindsey :)

But then even then that's probably not as great as it sounds. Sure parts of their relationship seem romantic, but they obviously had their problems. And maybe it's the shipper in me that thinks this, but I think that they will always be in love with each other. To be Stevie and to have, in a sense, lost the man I love would be unbearable.

And as much as I long to be an artist as she is, having a family at some point down the road is very important to me.

I voted No. At first I was going to say yes, but if I were Stevie Nicks, I would not be married to my beautiful and loving husband, so that would suck. Plus, I am not sure I could deal with all the fame and scrutiny.

I would want to be her best friend though. :nod:

Not gonna lie, the aspect of Stevie's life that I would love would be recording albums of your own material, and hitting the road night after night! I've always wanted to do that, and I guess if I was her, it would be possible! :)

Change it to "Would you want to be with Stevie Nicks", and I'd answer yes. Otherwise a resounding no. I love Mama but I wouldn't want to go through what she's been through.

Yes but only for the time she spent travelling to Italy and staying at the Palazzo Sasso in Ravello and well, maybe, a few good weeks she and Lindsey got along.

I would like to be a part of her inner circle. That would be fun. Maybe take a seat with Lori and Sharon and sing a little backing vocals on a song or two, have a glass of wine with Stevie and just listen to her talk. I'm sure she has many stories to share.
