Favorite New Song - Live Bootleg

What is your favorite of the 6 Seeds songs Lindsey recently performed?

ha, you are much faster than me - i was working on it when i noticed you already posted it!

i'll go with the way love goes, even though it's even for me with IOOT and illumination, but it's the one i play the most.

Just going on several listens here, but In Our Own Time just edges out Stars for me.

To rank them, I say:

1. In Our Own Time
2. Stars
3. End Of Time
4. The Way Love Goes
5. Illumination
6. Seeds We Sow

Michele

In Our own Time wins for me

- but I think this may change with a cleaned up album version!!!!

cant wait to hear the real thing - I wonder when the concert dates will be announced!!!

Would anyone believe me if I said that I purposely haven't listened to the songs?! I'd rather hear the album versions of these first. I saved the concert footage to my computer so I can have them later.

Respect! I simply couldn't.

New songs

I wish I can do that, but I'm too starved for Lindsey Songs!:)

youtube tallies

for a comparison, from the video bootlegs i could find (mostly Pattie's), here are added view tallies for all 6 songs so far:

1. IOOT 1933
2. Stars 1676
3. The Way Love Goes 1017
4. End of Time 984
5. Illumination 775 (this is probably skewed towards lower than it would be since Pattie had it in 2 parts, i only counted her part 1)
6. Seeds We Sow 514 (this might be skewed towards low since it was added last)

I listened to about a minute of each just to tease myself - I also just want to wait for the CD and have it all fresh and new. I have resisted going back to them!

you guys have way too much character! even if i didn't hear them at the concert, i am completely certain i'd listen to these songs the moment they were available. why deprive myself for 5 more months? plus, songs may end up sounding very different on the CD... so they'll be like new again. and if they sound almost the same - that's great too!

The Way Love Goes

Its hard to judge right now because this song is definitely a song that will be radically different on the album. Meaning, much more polished than the live version. But I freakin LOVE this song! The guitar solo rips!

I keep watching all the clips though, without sound, just so's I can drool

It wouldn't be half as exciting getting the CD if I already know a load of the songs on it. That's why I'm avoiding them. I like the build up, the anticipation.......

Would love to hear these.

Can anyone direct me - are they online anywhere?

Thanks

there are 4 youtube channels that i know of that have LB's new songs recorded live last month in LA:

Did Lindsey perform with a band or alone?

first 5 alone, next 13 w/ the band, last one alone.

band: lindsey, neale, brett, walfredo

check videos at links above (also post #67 at this link for set list http://ledge.fleetwoodmac.net/showth...t=46536&page=5)

The two I liked best hearing them live at the show were The End Of Time (30-40 seconds in I turned to my friend and said that I liked the song) and In Our Own Time, but I have a feeling I'm going to the studio version of Stars more. I don't know why, I just think it's going to sound better.

maybe a time to bump this now when we know IOOT will be first single - according to youtube views at the time i listed them, IOOT came on top, but according to votes here, it came 2nd, after stars, and running neck to neck with few others.

i'm really happy that it's IOOT. and interestingly, some sites are running lindsfan's saban recording of it to advertise it - and it seems to be working, people who commented like it:

That is probably how I would list the songs in terms of my own preference too, but I might put End of Time ahed of The Way Love Goes. Other than that, that's how I rate them now.

The first night, I liked Stars first and foremost, but then IOOT began to take the lead. I'm happy to have it as the single.
