I live in Sydney, Australia and was notified by email on 27/04/2011 that Warner US had posted my copy of In Your Dreams to me.

It hasn't arrive yet.

I am wondering if others in Australia have or have not received their copy(s)?

Hey there... I'm not far from your shores... I haven't gotten mine from barnes and noble either... :shrug:

I also received the email saying it was shipped on 27 April. But so far nothing... It sucks really considering it's a pre order you'd expect it sooner than later. But I got the deluxe version off iTunes to get me thru

I too have managed to find a version to listen to while waiting, but its not the same as holding the CD with the lyrics and photos. I also have a high quality stereo and can't wait to hear it on CD rather than compressed mp3 quality.

I also pre-ordered a UK Edition with the extra track 'My Heart' (from TISL sessions) before I saw Warner were selling the special fan version with lithograph, but this won't be released until late June. I hope it doesn't arrive first.

Bummer! For about $22 USD i got Barnes and Noble to ship me the same version of the CD. It's supposedly in the mail but I haven't gotten it. Def shouldn't have to wait until June!

I'm the same, I got an email like a week ago saying it was shipped, but still not hereeeeeeee

I cancelled my UK order and placed a Barnes and Noble one, hopefully saving weeks and about 50 cents

You know when Under The Skin came out nearly 5 years ago I ordered it from B&N and got it before the release date. :mad:

Yup, another patiently waiting Aussie ledgie here. I'm thinking it can't be *too* far away given it was shipped on the 27th - I'd hope no later than Friday.

Waiting in the UK too... I'm pinning my hopes on amazon.com being much quicker than WB fan edition...

I decided not to order a copy through Warner's, I'm hoping to buy IYD's from JB''s or Sanity, are they even in our stores yet here in OZ???

And Aussie W/Heart the JB Hi-Fi near me had the CD on shelves May 3rd even though Warner Music Australia said it wouldn't be released till the 6th. I caved and bought one of those too.

Oh and is anyone else super excited that Stevie said she's coming in November! ?

I think J&B HiFi will have it. I am getting mine tomorrow! I have being buying all of my Stevie/Mac cd's there for years!

Cool, thanks for the info regarding JB's, i will definatly be making the trip tomz too... and yes im already so excited that she is coming here in Nov, it will be my first time seeing Stevie Solo in concert.... whoooo!!!! Im hoping to get good seats in Brissy, i better start saving NOW..

I brought my copy at JB on Monday when it was released, so JB HI Fi is your best bet to get a copy, they had heaps too.

I phoned Big W yesterday, on the off chance they may have IYDs in store, i spoke to this really nice guy working in the music dept, i asked if they had Stevie Nick''s new CD in stock? i must admit i was waiting for the Stevie WHO???? but i got the best response ever, he said that he loooves SN, & has most of her CDs at home. He had no idea about IYD's & was very interested to hear all about it, so of coarse i was VERY happy to fill him in, i mentioned that she's also coming out in Nov. Anyway he said Big W most probably wont order IYD's till the CD reaches the top 20 list here.:confused: I think it safe to say that Secret Love has not even played on any radio stations here in Aust ,so what hope has this new CD got sale wise, if only JB's are stocking them & not being promoted via radio?? JMO i really think Moonlight would be a big hit here, it would help if there was some well deserved promotion behind this epic CD..
So has anyone heard Secret Love on the radio here in Aust?? if so which song do you think should be the next single released?? it probably not going to happen, but I'm interested in you thoughts anyway.. lol

I tried listening to my local classic rock stations to see if they'd mention her new album, I even requested they play Secret Love on a few of them, but I'm yet to hear anyone else other than myself listening to the album.

I just wish some Aussie Retailers would've stocked the deluxe edition so I could hear "My Heart"...

Aussie W/Heart I have no idea what the next single would be, I'm thinking Annabel Lee or Moonlight possibly Everybody Loves You, I personally like Ghosts Are Gone and it's the first real rocking thing Stevie's done in a while as well as being kinda bluesy... So maybe classic rock stations would like that...

Someone please play Stevie on your radio station!

It's entirely possible if she's going to be coming in November that the radio stations will pick up the album and actually try promoting it. I personally hope she does a few TV appearances while she's over here.

Maybe a Morning News show or something like 7pm Project or Good News Week or even 60 minutes.

So, I get home today to discover a large cylindrical package on my door step. For a fleeting moment I thought they may have perfomed some incredible feat of physics to get my CD in there, but alas, just the lithograph. I'm assuming the CD can't be far away, but in the mean time I'll just have to see if the lithograph will sing to me. Odds aren't good.

Secondly, I was very excited to hear one of the local radio stations in SE Qld (River 94.9) doing a give away promo for IYD. I hope this translates into some air play for the album. I haven't heard any as yet, but that could be because I haven't taken the CD out of the car to give the radio a chance ;)

The station is actually based in Ipswich, with seemingly a large audience in Toowoomba and surrounds. In short, I think some of the more 'country-leaning' songs on IYD would probably go down a treat - FWIW and Ghosts Are Gone* for example.


*I suppose we've all realised this abbreviates to GAG? I like the song too much for that.

awwww, i hope it comes soon~ i bought the upgrade w/ the litho as well, i got them the same day~ funny thing tho, the litho came UPS & the cd arived in the regular mail:shrug:~

That is so exciting to know that your local radio station is promoting IYDs, i will force myself to tune in to my local stations here on the Sunny coast, actually I'm driving to Toowoomba this w/end so i will give that station you mentioned a whirl, as I'm more inclined to reach for my Stevie CDs while driving everywhere i go..:D

Yay! Got my litho today, still no cd tho. Thank God for iTunes deluxe version to tide me by...

My CD arrived today! - Its the normal one. not the deluxe with My Heart.

yeah i had to go out and just buy a copy... my Barnes & Noble version still hasn't arrived. :shocked:

I have had 3 emails in 3 days from Barnes and Nobel saying they can't fill my order. Haven't cancelled it yet, but have reordered in the UK, just in case.

I have such empathy for your frustrations. I wish I had thought of it earlier, but Americans like myself should have bought the CDs and mailed them to you! You'd have them by now! I hate the thought of you waiting for so long. It's just wrong!

So nice of you to say that... It is wrong people are still waiting this long after the release. I think it's a tactic of WB to get people buying extra copies... Ah well...

I'm also yet to receive my CD from Warner Bros. but on the weekend I was out in Melb (planking) and celebrating a friends 23rd and through a shop window (Dangerfield - a hippy/goth boutique/clothing store, that doesn't sell CD's as far as I know) had a big In Your Dreams poster that you couldn't miss if you tried, under the counter.. So Impressed I was, I took a photo :cool:

Success! The CD finally arrived at last, and I'm listening to it as we speak :D

For some reason, I didn't think I was getting the version with My Heart on it, so at least there's one new song for me to experience :laugh:

I'm listening to the entire cd as well right now and am loving how well My Heart nestles right in perfectly between Annabel Lee and Soldier's Angel...

Finally I have my fan edition playing, loudly, a candle burning and I'm looking at the now framed lithograph in it's place I've been saving on the wall. Ahhh Heaven. This is what it's all (been) about...:]:lol::nod::D;):p

Barnes and Noble cancelled my special edition order without telling me :(

:]:]I certainly am enjoying it all, and thanks for mentioning it, it does get a bit much having to wait that bit longer, but I have to admit that Rolling Stone stream really saved me on the 3rd May until iTunes dropped there Deluxe Version on the 6th. So I was half way there.

But Whoo-Hoo! the CD itself is now playing on repeat, and I'm only falling more in love with these songs; Moonlight, My Heart, Annabel, FWIW ... basically, all of them:]

I really hope it is, too. :wavey:
