It looks like the finale of American Idol will be packed with divas.

RumorFix was first to tell you that Lady Gaga was locked in for the show in February, and now we've learned exclusively that Stevie Nicks is part of the all-star line-up.

The legendary Fleetwood Mac singer has a new album out called In Your Dreams -- it's her first solo effort in ten years.

So no matter who wins the singing competition, the finale is guaranteed to be a winning show!

Even tho it's WAAAAY overdone, I wouldn't even care if she did Stand Back, long as Gaga sang with her on it. OMG! This is soooo freakin exciting!!! She's really going all out with the top TV show appearances. LOOOOOOOVES IT! :thumbsup:

LOL! Don't get me wrong, I'd LOOOVE to see her do something unexpected & fresh, but we all know she tends to stick to Stand Back & Landslide for TV appearances, so given those choices, I'd have to go with Stand Back. The finale of AI is always a high energy show & a song like Landslide would stick out like a sore thumb, whereas a high energy song like Stand Back would work much better. But, who knows what she'll do... I'm just glad she's gonna be on the same stage as Gaga. That will be one powerful moment in Stephanie history... :lol:

'It's time to dust off the bustier, slide into some velvet and sew on some sequins! In news that will make music fans from several generations very, very happy indeed, it's been reported that both Lady Gaga and Stevie Nicks will perform on the 'American Idol' season finale later this month.

According to Perez Hilton, the legendary Fleetwood Mac singer-songwriter will take to the 'Idol' stage for what promises to be an epic performance.

There's been no word yet if we'll get to see a Stevie-Gaga duet, but it's likely that many minds will be blown by just the possibility of such a spectacular hook-up.

And that's not all Lady Gaga will be doing on 'Idol.' According to host Ryan Seacrest, the 'Born This Way' singer will be next week's mentor.

Seacrest announced the news via Twitter: "I only have one word for our mentor on @AmericanIdol next week.......... Gaga."

Lady Gaga will work with the remaining Top 4 contestants alongside her record label boss, 'American Idol' in-house mentor, Jimmy Iovine. Her role will be to guide and advise the singers before their live performances Wednesday night.

Stevie Nicks has recently been undergoing a career revival. This week's 'Rumors' episode of 'Glee' paid tribute to Fleetwood Mac, and earlier this week Nicks released her first solo album in 10 years.

Despite the long hiatus Nicks has remained an iconic pop music presence and is fêted at events like tonight's annual velvet and satin extravaganza, Night of a 1000 Stevies. However, she's been dogged by ill-health, and this week was forced to pull out of several scheduled appearances aafter being diagnosed with pneumonia.

This is great news! I know Gaga admires Stevie and even said she thinks "What would Stevie do?" when she gets writer's block. I think she could talk Stevie into doing something but she may just want to do her own thing.

This promises to be epic -- here's hoping Stevie is in her best vocal form that night! :]

yeah, it's already been posted and pretty looks like a done deal now. Good for Stevie, hope she sales some copies of her new record.

I'd like to imagine that the two Stephanie's would duet & when their voices join together, it causes a cosmic flash of light thru the universe & casts a spell over the entire world, but that's just cuz I'm half crazy & half retarded. LOL

But, I'd love to see Gaga play piano & sing the intro for Rhiannon, then when it's time for the guitar part to kick in, the music for "Judas" kicks in & Stevie comes out in a totally Gaga outfit & rocks out with her. Or Stevie playing the piano version of "Paparazzi", then Gaga coming out & busting into Stand Back, dressed like Stevie... the possibilities are ENDLESS!!! But, it'll probably just be Stevie coming out, doing a stale version of Landslide or Stand Back & no duet with Gaga. Who knows? :shrug:

Stevie has already missed a lot of promotional time for "In Your Dreams." I hope she does something from the new album.

I just don't think the Today show was that major. She needs radio play and the songs on this album are soo varied, she should have stuff up all over the different format stations now.

As we've reported, Lady GaGa is set to perform during the finale of American Idol - and now, we have ANOTHER performance over which we'll be losing our shiz during that same episode, because Stevie Nicks will be hitting up the reality competition's stage, as well!

We wonder if she'll do something off of In Your Dreams, or if she'll stick with a classic?

Either way, we're PUMPED! This is going to be absolutely epic!

But, if Gaga puts her spin on either of them, it'll at least freshen it up a little, although I'd much rather her do one of the new songs, preferably Ghosts Are Gone or Moonlight, but it probably won't happen. If she HAS to do Stand Back, I'd like to see her do one of the remix versions or even the Deep Dish version of Dreams. Something high energy, that would blend well into a Gaga song, but they probably won't even duet, so I know I'm just dreaming. But, it would be cool to see her do something other than the same ole boring songs she always does on TV.

I just hope she does not promote Fleetwood Mac, and promotes her solo career, especially her new music.

i would like to see Moonlight. i think it would be done nicely with GaGa! and you know GaGa would come out vamp'd out! So hot!!!!

if they don't do Moonlight, then i think Rhiannon would be a nice mix! They'd sound great together! Ionno if i wanna hear GaGa sing the intro tho. STEVIE has to say "don't go." and "stay". GaGa can't do those parts! naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah no bueno in my book.

if no Moon, RhiRhi or SB.............my God...........i hate to say..........LANDSLIDE. however it would be nice to NOT see sheryl crow. yeah yeah yeah i know folks really like that harmony, but i think GaGa would sound great with Stevie doing that one.
