I'm starting to think that she really was in London. Just something that Dave S. tweeted about his having been getting ready to fly to NY to play with Stevie, but then she got sick, and then he said 'so I'm in LA now at the studio'. It was that 'now' that made me think they might have been in London together, planning to go to NY and she had to stay and he came back to LA?

Anyway, the point is, Rockalot said in another thread that someone at Fantasy Springs had said that they know she's 'back in town'. So that might mean that she's been on a plane - and that would obviously suggest some sort of improvement?

I still can't see her leaving her interview with Perez Hilton on April 27th to fly to London with her album release and Today show appearance on May 3rd and the east coast dates starting May 4th. Seems like she would have been gearing up for all that/resting from the promos. :shrug:

That was me, I found it strange when the lady said "we know she's back in town" so its looking good. I just assumed she was at home this entire time, resting in her own bed? But there was that talk of her being in London so who knows where the heck she's at today!

Let's hope the pneumonia she has/had is walking pneumonia. I read on webmd that walking pneumonia patients usually feel better within a few days. :)

I know, it seems extreme, but Dave does that LA-London gig a lot. And LA-NY is still, technically, long-haul so I wonder if it was just like you're adding on the NY-London leg, so it doesn't seem like such a big deal once you accept that you're hauling ass thousands of miles anyway?

I just wonder if she really did go there for some reason that we just don't know? Promotors? Who knows. I'm just musing out loud - and trying to put together reasons to be cheerful, if it means she's been on a plane! :nod:

Here's wishing Stevie a speedy recovery. I wonder if NicksFix will sponsor a get well card for her.

My friend had walking pneumonia a couple of time.It took him about a month to recoupe.Today I was thinking about a get well card.I wonder if theres a way we all on the Ledge post our get well messages and find out how to get them to Stevie quickly.
The Ledge mods probably can find out how to send the digital card to her.
Or send an email to Liz and ask her how.That would be great to do this for our Stevie.

Who knows what she can pickup form the Edgewalk handshake routine.Gloves or without gloves.she can pick up god knows what from fans.I hope she keeps her hands away from her face and mouth until she cleans up with antibacterial hand wash.

Pneumonia sucks. Walking pneumonia sucks. Even if the fever and danger period is only a few days, it leaves your lungs in a state of prolonged recuperation, and often leaves a residual cough for weeks as the patient heals. Breathing is also sometimes hard, and I can imagine singing would be nearly impossible for a while. Hopefully she'll get better quickly.

Good news! My partner told me Al Ortiz said on his Facebook that they will be filming Ellen today! It will air tomorrow. :thumbsup:

Looks like our prayers have helped.

Stevie must be feeling better if she's able to do the Ellen show. Is anyone here going?? When should we start checking that backstage cam?

So unless she has some sort of set back after today, the shows this week should be a GO! :D :D :D
